- I do not own anything. I just wanted to post my favorite scenes from Generation Kill, an HBO series on the Iraq war focused on a recon battalion, for my friends and you guys to enjoy. I finished the series three days into the Corona Virus Epidemic. I totally want to be just like Ray when WW3 hits.

Best part is US lost that war as well! 2021 Iraq is run with a lot of help from Iran, even disregarding the fact that main premise of the war - WMD was a lie. I guess the last US success is 1991 war. 30 years of losses.

@@wolfrainexxx Each war is fought with a mission in mind. US has tendency to add on to a mission. US lost the 2nd war in Iraq as its political goals were not met. War is extension of politics. War is politics with the use of force, while diplomacy is politics without use of force. US goal was at first to eliminate WMD. There were no WMD. Thus the goal was not achieved unless you count that the trivial solution of ending without WMD at then end. I.e. there was no need for war - not even diplomacy.
There was never a goal of laying Iraq to waste - on the contrary the extended mission was to build an allay - which you just pointed out also failed. Since everything US did in Iraq - at least major - was a failure it lost the war.
To put it into simpler perspective, say someone is robbing a gas station for some drug $. They kill the clerk, trash the station but find no $. Was it a successful robbery?

And after you are done with that you should read "One bullet away". Most of it is about the same thing but from Nathaniel Ficks perspective. Man I would pay a good buck to read more books from him!

At 6:24 and 6:32 just perfect..good trigger control and had weapon adjusted to be stable keeping wide field of vision until he spots a person with a significant chance of being an armed combatant so at 6:24 takes safety off(can hear it) adjusts to looking through scope so hes prepared and moment he sees the firearm hes already at a significant advantage 1) with his firearm being stable 2)safety off already 3)good trigger control like i stated but once the potential threat emerged he then and ONLY THEN did he put his finger in the ready position 4)was able to asses the situation with a wide field of view then when potential threat emerged because of his excellent control of his weapon system was prepared and was able to put his eye on the scope which lead to him being at a significant advantage of being not just infinitely more ready than an AMBUSH combatant but the scope allowed him to get a good set of eyes not just on the weapon of the target allowing him to let it fly but was able to because of the ability to put eyes on the target before the target..again an AMBUSH combatant..was physically able to put eyes on them..but due to his discipline - at the moment of identification all his steps were completed but for the last step.. squeezing the trigger..then at 6:32 after eliminating thr target..you hear that noise?? Safety back on immediately!. Like a actuall factual professional should!! Along with eye off scope returning the full field of vision..while weapon system still having stability from the bracing method in window and along with the sound of safety being returned to the "safe" position his trigger control is in conjunction regardless because proper training and discipline just showed the reason why it is imperative for the soldier..muah chefs kiss
