@@OnlyTidusoh please) you can get into trouble due to the fault of a shaman, warrior, etc. I've been playing for Hunt for 3 years and haven't had a single error like this. It's not about the class, it's about the player. By level 60 you should have a pool of players you trust. and only with them should you go to dungeons if you want to live.
@@MsWergo nah I seen enough death clips to not care what you say, won't be a hunter in any of my runs ever, warlocks on the watch list too.
People who don't know what pet pathing, petattack and pet passive are for aren't worth the risks and you don't know until it's too late
And your examples shaman and warrior they mess up and pull 1 more pack, pet classes mess up and pull 50 mobs, big difference in whats carryable

@@OnlyTidus You can have an imp warlock with pet being passive, they don't body pull and pathing doesn't matter (afaik) while they are intangible. And they don't drop it on their own. I'm more suspicious of dwarf players than others, though. Dwarf warrior as the tank = hard no.

Just pick hunter yourself. can't be wiped by a hunter if you are the hunter ;)
they are so useless in DM north, blizzard even put traps in the instance to do their job, let that sink in. when you realize you need a rogue to open the door, any combination of priest, paladin, mage and warlock to fill the rest of the dps and healer spots will give you a much better chance to make it out alive.

He did got out of combat after vanish, but for some reason he then headed to the right, closer to the dogs that can see through stealth and they aggro'd instantly. He should have went the other way.
that is true but the dogs stealth detection is in a cone, so even if they get in combat with his team within the range of that cone they detect him putting him on combat. So even if he vanished and went other way the dogs were heading that direction anyways so it should have pulled him back into combat a second or 2 later. He had a petri tho :p leave group petri.
Think it's worth a mention he also decided too stay and help in what ever way he could, as a rogue he could have been selfish ran too the ogre pack (right side as u head out of the dungeon) and vanished but that's leaving them to fend for themselves. Savix goes down with the ship!

That blows man. You guys broke dungeon rule #1. Always pull the pack. That goes for every dungeon.
Never try to skip that corner back ever, with whatever changes blizzard made, the aggro range of that pack is insane and sometimes when youre pulling the mobs infront of the stairs can also aggro them

I saw you in there before dinner and thought to myself "this dungeon is a death trap." Savix was too good for this world (of warcraft).
Worst part is you all probably survive if you go every man for themselves. Vanish, FD x2, druid jumps in cat form to soften fall damage and then hearth, pally bubble jump hearth.
I don't think I could be so mad for some one else's death. I followed these clips from day 1!!!
Guys don't skip packs in max level dungeons , 3 min for clearing that pack vs your 8 days /played literally. That pack on stairs has a huge aggro range and yes hunter pet ninja pulled but i dont really understand why engaged upstairs without waiting everyone. This whole situation could have been avoided by taking it slow. No escape route if something goes wrong. Rip Are tho , he grinded a lot and respect Savix for not abandoning the ship
Any group that starts to walk around packs to avoid them is a "Clear or hearth" from me. Always an escape plan.
that team comp in Dire Maul north is almost asking for a wipe. No priest, no mage, no warlock, this is the no CC dream team you got there. I would have never joined that group if I were the healer or tank when I know all the dps can go every man for himself mode when shit hits the fan.
I feel bad for Savix and everyone of course. I had a bad feeling something like this would happen because it almost always does when you play for a long time, and then decide to do one last thing, it just gives off a bad feeling.
We go agane! It sucks because I know Savix really loves playing Rogue and he just got 60 not too long ago, ready to raid with the Brothers, I just hope you and everyone else aren't taking it too hard.

and this right here is why i always say to clear the mobs, cos you never know what will happen. Mistakes happen and that is life, but what you can do is to try to mitigate the possibility of critical mistakes and clearing the mobs is one pretty fast way to do that. How much time would it have taken to clear the mobs vs leveling from start. Most deaths i see are because someone tried to save time either by over agro, skipping or some other behaviour like that :)

I would do Marksman, no pet with Lone Wolf talent for the peace of mind. There are some good keybinds you use a pet. Mine was /pet attack to arcane shot so my pet only attacks what i shoot first. Then i remove any pet attack keybinds to prevent accidents. Also i would keep a return pet keybind on the mouse wheel roll back function to be fast as possible if the pet goes awry.

Bricked up Brother is a very large guild, so there's bound to be some outliers, but almost everyone I've grouped with in BUB & BUG have been above average to exceptional players

If a group especially in 60 dungeons start to skip and move around packs to avoid a few minutes = you ask them to clear or you hearth. Simple blacklist for PUG dungeons. Any tank that isn't a warrior. Ret paladin, DPS priest anything shaman, anything druid, any hunter. Keep rogues (can be contentious with vanish but they bring too much utility and dmg so it's worth the risk), mages, locks (summons, stones, imp buff), priest healers. Watch your chances dramatically go up in surviving. If you want a DPS warrior and the tank doesn't mind, that's sort of ok but good luck having a pug tank ok with that. Obviously if you have a trusted static the rules are more loose so of course you're not going to say no to a properly spec'd and geared holy paladin you know for example.

Classic dungeons are extremely difficult when you ding 60, so choosing group composition is too important. Two hunters is too many. Paladin has limited 5 man dungeon healing output until a few pieces of gear drop. Priest is the only way to get big heals with low item level gear. Druid tanks don't get enough threat and can't parry and block so your paladin can't keep up healing.

Go Marks / Survival. Dismiss Pet except on boss fights and big pulls, and as directed by your Dungeon / Raid leader.

Ya light of elune and hearthstone are exactly 10 seconds each. You have to macro it. If there is any delay this could happen.

he had it macro'd. Even with the macro it can rarely fail like this due to swing timers, server ticks, whatever

Guzu died from paying too much attention to his chat and not the game and Savix died trying to save his team, failing a light of elune hearth and vanishing right next to a pack of dogs that can see him in stealth :/

The common denominator in almost all dungeon fuckups is hunters, keep that in mind for the next char :D

Pretty sure there is a safe spot on that ramp that he almost jumps on at 6 seconds into the video. You have to get a running start.
The hunters could have also agro'd the mobs blocking the path with their pets and then sent them back to a stay position so the group can run through without getting agro.
I just don't get why he didn't know that he couldn't leave group with that addon, and didn't have a light of elune +hearth macro, being that is it's only use for hc.

As long as shit is still manageable, I’ll stay and fight for each person in the group. But if shit really hits the fan and people start dying, it’s every man for himself. I‘m not going to restart all over again, just because some people still haven’t learned how to manage their pet, or how not to stand in fire, in a almost twenty year old game.
I can see a future where Hunters and Warlocks aren't' allowed to have their pets out except on boss fights. Group and Raid leaders will eventually, simply, disallow them from having their pets out. It will be a normal requirement.
So sad here, but some lessons learned here. Never skip mobs, never bring hunters to dungeons, never try to save anyone in HC.

Everyone is blaming the hunter but the real sabotage was whoever decided to skip a trash pull in a hardcore dungeon. You spend dozens of hours to reach this point and you are gonna skip a pack because it could potentially save 90 seconds? Sorry but you guys were asking for this by thinking you could skip. :(
