    I remember randomly whispering this guy on Horizon regarding ideal camp spots, and he gave me a list of detailed camps - he’s genuinely a good guy.
    Great video btw!

    Do you have a video about how you set up your chat windows and configurations? I really like how it's set up on yours easy to see all the moves that are being done. Thanks

    i don't think it would beat a BRD in normal XP parties, but in retail Merit parties, i used to pull an extra mob with carbuncle and let him fight the mob until party killed the current mob. It worked great. By the time the party got to it, it was already half dead. Just another thing a SMN can do well.

    Can you please do a video on how you got your UI to look like that, like a list of addons? I love it

    Hey Brix,
    Got a question.
    I was in Nasomi and we did this BLM burn in Cape Terrigan as well, but we had a BRD and a outside of party lv75 PLD aggroin everything and pulling them to camp where the BRD slept them, then all BLMs spammed 'ga spells.
    We gained a whoooole lot of XP like that. It was crazy.
    Is this not possible in HorizonXI?

    Ran by a random party doing this the other day. Never seen it done before and though it was pretty cool.

      I've kinda become spoiled by it. I haven't used a regular party setup since I started using this lol

      It's already a drag to do normal exp parties. Watching a hp bar go from 90% to 0% is super satisfying lol

    How much exp were y’all getting per mob? Can’t see on my POS phone.

      200ish. Same as a normal exp party.

    Ive been looking at ff11 content to see if i could get in to it and most videos are whole parties killing what should be starting area mobs.. huh

    • @tobennaokeke626
      @tobennaokeke626 Před rokem

      You don't need whole parties to kill mobs and these aren't starting areas, but if you want to maximize exp gain you'll typically have a reasonably sized party taking on much higher level mobs which gives more exp

    • @BrixyXI
      @BrixyXI  Před rokem +1

      I think they meant fighting the same generic types of families over and over for exp (crabs, beetles, lizards, etc...). That is mainly a choice the community does out of ease and not so much because it's the only option. It's mainly a path of lease resistance sort of thing. While you can fight lots of different targets people will always go for whatever is the least threatening and can increase their exp per hour.

    People don't want BLM for parties? Maybe I'm casual trash but I've kitchen sinked MNK, RDM, RDM, BLM, BLM, WHM and had no regrets with great xp. Then again I've always favored oddball parties that I squinted at and said "... yeah actually I think that'll work."

      @@GooseGumlizzard youre all delusional by saying horizon is the REAL XI experience. how can you call a private server MORE REAL than the actual real game itself lol YALL just keep acting like boomers and just want to exp in the dunes and qufim island over and over and over until you die from old age or bordem..but dont want to do any of the newer end game content. if everyone from horizon went to retail..retail wouldnt be as dead..and exp parties would also still exist. the boomer player base is whats killing retail..not retail. Not everyone has every job leveled to 99 and maxed out. You would have people leveling just like back in the old days...if the population was there. If all the new ffxi players went to retail instead of horizon..there would be dunes parties again...there would be qufim parties...crawlers nest..altepa etc. People in retail just have no choice but to use trusts because of the low population and lack of lower levels. most of the people that are on retail are die hard veterans of the game. Retail just needs fresh new meat and itll be just like before.
