The best gaffer in Arsenal, the understading of football and beyond it. His intellect is clear there. Because of his heart for Arsenal and restrictions within the Club hierarchy, it really undermined Arsene. The current owner and their board members currently really milking the profits and forcing their regime like overworking an old veteram at 33+ like Kosh. The previous Arsenal of 90s, with class, would of agreed to Kosh demands, let him return to France, for free! Thats what 9 years of service meant. The prime of a footballer's career. It's too bad the game became all about billionaires pumping money into clubs to get trophies. Arsene had the right attitude and great philosophy, spot talent at a bargain and develop your young players, and vow to create a harmonious club where everyone feels respected and valued. It worked wonders honestly, but the arrival of Abramovich plus the burden of building the Emirates really took a toll. Teams in England also learned from Wenger and started to recruit more abroad making it more competitive. Even with all that he still managed to keep the club fantastic shape although lacking trophies when compared to United and later Chelsea in the late 2000s and early 2010s, then the emergence of City and the oil money... so yeah.
