Experience->Memory->thoughts. Yes we do create our own thoughts. Thinker is the thought. We are responsible for our birth and death through Karma. Pay off your karma debt and you will avoid cycle of birth and death.
CHOICES: Your Intellect and mind is responsible for making choices. Normally your 5 senses and mind will override your intellect. Everything is in your control, so there is no point in blaming God or others. Life is a Divine play not a game. Pain is inevitable but Sufferings is a optional because suffering is created by thoughts (by you)in your mind. We can escape EGO by being aware of our awareness ( soul). Yes divine grace is needed but self realisation comes only from you and no one else. We have to make the effort and inquire within, THE PATH COMES FROM YOU🙏

I have a humble question: how can it be said that Life is an amazing creation when (as of now) we are insignificantly small part of the Universe's spacetime frame. We are not adding to the Universe in any way rather we are not adding to other living beings on Earth also. The entire value addition is very much confined to the humans living a human-made life in a human-made world. I can't feel that we play a part in the bigger order of things and that life in itself is a beautiful creation but I am certainly looking for a way to feel otherwise.
Hey Jasnoor, I only stumbled upon this video and your question in the comments today. It's a great question and I was really hoping to see a response to it. So here's what comes up for me, reading your question:
There are a lot of presupposed correlations in your question. You're presupposing that being an insignificantly small part of the universe means life cannot be an amazing creation. You're also presupposing that a lack of adding value to other living beings also means life is not an amazing creation. You're also presupposing that to feel life is a beautiful creation you would need to play a part in the bigger order of things.
All these presuppositions have underlying beliefs: We are an insignificantly small part of the universe. We don't add any value to other living beings. We don't play a part in the bigger order of things.
You've said you want to feel otherwise but let me ask you this: If you could feel life is a beautiful creation, but your beliefs about our insignificance and value addition were completely true, would that be ok?
If you're not sure, then perhaps there's a part of you that is really craving more significance and impact. And that may be ego. Or it may be a deeper, more sincere calling to turn to your fellow beings and recognise your connection with them.
Maybe that is the difference we can make. It's not in trying to add value to others, it's recognising there is no "other", and by virtue of how we live in compassion and service, we're just dusting off the distractions from the abundant and infinite value that is already there.
After all, even a butterfly flapping its wings in one part of the world can result in a hurricane on the other side of the planet.
For what it's worth, your question itself has had a significant impact on me by prompting me to remember these things. So thank you! Stay curious! :-)
Doesn't a lot of this come down to the relative and the absolute? It seems like on a relative level, I am in control of my life, yet on an absolute level, since there is only the One, all choices are made by the One will (without another) that exists.
In a sense. You do have complete control of the small frame but no control over the large one. Each decision you make is yours alone yet the universe that unfolds from that decision is entirely predicted by the One. Which of those universes exist? All of them, in all three temporal directions - before, now and after. There are a few constants in all of them. The beginning, the interim and the end. It is also true that the mind will struggle to stave off the end.

I have been following your videos and they are amazing..everything explained so nicely, but just when i was sinking into this concept of oneness, this one question created confusion... if.thoughts just happen to us, then all these books and spiritual masters that keep talking about law of attraction and how we can manifest things by creating specific thoughts, how is that possible? If thoughts just happen to us, then how can we be constantly aware of our thoughts and change them from " I am" to " you are" ? Are we not the creators of our thoughts and hence feelings and cN we not change them with practice?
Thoughts come from memory. We suppose to have experience and let it go. But we hold on to the experience and make a memory of it. Then from memory we create thoughts

6.y do i feel now its a duty to do path .i do it daily but the thing is my mind always wonders somewere else be it good thought be it bad be it blank be it in the path,(meaning that i want to do path i am doing it but i have no conseration or control over my path....

8.y is it i feel pity for someone in its bad time and feel that the other person does not feel the same for it?

With all due respect sir , u r the divine , the oneness , the parmatma...u don't have to find anywhere else not even inside u , what is there inside ..when u close ur eyes u see dark bombarded with thoughts right???? So just feel ur presence and see the thoughts as it is and again come back feeling ur presence....ur own essence is peace , so when u keep observing ur presence , keeping urself de attached with thoughts , peace will emerge within u bcoz it's u who is peace but don't expect to search for peace or get confused by mind to start searching.....just sit QUITELY and see what happens....

because that teaching will adjust the seekers mind to act correctly ie it will be added to conditions the brain works with. The wisdom affects the mind and can change the mind.
it is very disruptive to have adverts in between katha. And when you are supposed to be focused on divine matters, why be disrupted by mundane material adverts. Why adverts at all during divine seva and katha ....
and the explanation follows! The only thought that comes to me when I see someone close to the edge of the platform is whether they are about to fall in or jump in and should I go and speak to them or better leave them.

@dear sister , asking this question only means the minds wants to go in relationship and same mind is creating the confusion also by asking the question..it's trap of mind....now coming to point can amritdhari Sikhs go into relationship???? Amritdhari first means who follows the criteria of fullfillng 5 kakars(kangha , kesh , kach , kada , kripan ) , the Amrit the melody generates when mind is one with the universal force ...the naad unstruck sound happens then life becomes Amrit , u become Amrit in urself...wasn't guru nanak ji not in relationship(he had wife and kids), wasn't guru GOBIND Singh ji not in relationship (wife mata jito) , so what it has to do with amritdhari or non amritdhari.....the true relation ship which u can have is with the guru which is inside u , if in any case my words offend u or u meant to ask question in different sense then I apologise sister as I can not understand the intent and emotion behind asking ur ques...I answered with my limited understanding....possible consider me as ur brother and forgive if u didn't like anything I said...regards...
