Usyk is already being called the most accomplished heavyweight in boxing. Bro won so much gold throughout his career, insane.
The question is, does he do this if it was 1990-1996 heavyweight boxing era??
@@melancholymartialarts7095 Usyk would be a monster in any era I think. It's crazy he is seen as a small heavyweight now, but he is as big as George Foreman in his prime.
All 5000 belts Baby Yeah!!!
Small heavyweights was always the way fighters like riddick bowe, holyfield, mike tyson lennox lewis and even ike ibeabuchi would mop the floor with this current era a lean 220Ibs heavyweights who moves and had fast hands has always been the way this current era rely on size and power which is not a good thing. Let's not even talk about the 80s Hws like frazer,Ali,patterson and sonny liston are a different breed usyk would do well because of his footwork and speed.
@@TheWeasleMMA Weasle, is Fury still the âgreatest heavyweight everâ?

Who barely won against-and got dropped by-an MMA fighter?
Judges getting the decision right and choosing not to look like total crack addicts is refreshing.
Facts dude I was so nervous when the one judge had it for Fury
I was surprised they didn't just throw in a 118-110 for Fury
Bro there is still some fans out there actually trying to call this a robbery which imo is mind boggling lol. I think at best , being biased in favor of fury and bending yourself backwards just to give him every remotely close round and toss up at best you can give the guy is a draw, but a win? Like no.
Whoever scored it for Fury also had Paddy winning against Gordon
All the people saying Tom Aspinall wins because he's bigger are silent and ghosts now
"The smaller man, the older man, the weaker man..." No. Just THE MAN. First undisputed HW champion this century/millennium and of the 4 belt era. A truly historic day for boxing.

we got to wait at least until 2050 before we can use this century and it hold some weight to it. everything else i agree with.

He said happy new year he was gone lol
Why do people say Usyk was robbed of a KO? I thought the ref was perfect. Only interfered and called the knockdown when Fury was going down but got held up by the ropes.
I agree, Iâm a huge Tyson fan and even me that kinda annoys me. Like both guys have both just insane talent be proud you gave him such a hard fight and not make excuses
Standing 8 vs tko.. I think it was tko
The ref did a great job. The only people that wanted that to be counted as tko are usyk groupies and people that put money on an usyk ko. This was the first such match in 25 years, fury dominated the fight 6-2 rounds at that point , so it definitely would've robbed us of the great comeback that usyk made every round after. If it weren't a fight of the magnitude that it was than sure I can see it being called, but considering the circumstances it was a great non call by the ref
Uysk showed Fury why he was an olympic gold medalist.
Fury showed that he is a fantastic fighter.

Usyk is also the older man
Yup people forget the best heavyweights arenât always the biggest . Tyson and Ali for an example are small for their weight class
i'm pretty sure you wouldn't think Usyk is small in any way if you stood in front of him.
I feel fury took the loss well. I seen the post fight interview. Our society has to lighten up on fighters. It's like when they lose people want them to pull a pistol out a blow their brains out. Fury did good. He complimented usyk's performance. He said good fight. So he thought he won. So what. He's fighting he's not keeping score. Plus he grabbed a lot of the early rounds. It's his first loss. That is a hard pill to swallow. As a society we need to learn to calm down and respect both fighters and giving credit where credit is due. Good fight
â@@DarkPhantomSkyHe is small compared to his peers tho
Fury being delusional after calling out Wilder for the same thing is hilarious
not the same. Wilder said he got drugged and cheated.
you make no sense
@THE.GYPSY.PRINCE He literally brought up the war in Ukraine to imply that the judges were swayed into giving Usyk the decision, that's wild to say the least
No one cares about Ukraine but corrupt politicians and people with stocks in weapons manufacturing companies. But hey, maybe the corrupt boxing community does...
â@@johnanimelord9976 When he says things like that about a disciplined man like Usyk, it just doesn't seem likely for him to win a rematch. Usyk's consistency and hard work beat Fury. â@@johnanimelord9976 the war on Ukraine is something that's literally happening. The excuses Wilder came up with were objectively and exponentially more f*ing pathetic and fabricated lmfao.

Furyâs ability to recover is truly something to behold. His head was slouched over and his hands were dropped to his waist and he was stumbling around like a drunk person. It looked like he was out on his feet and muscle memory and unconscious will power was keeping him up. And then to be able to shake off the cobwebs and gather himself to keep fighting with or without help from the ref is remarkable
He got something inside his nose
LMFAO without help from the ref
True, also helps that he got a standing count and then another minute right after.
He was saved, it is that simple.
Maybe the fight was fixed and it was all a show.
That blind left would have been it. If you watch youâll see Usyk could have landed it but pulls back as the ref moves in. Ref saved Tyson.
The ref did a great job. The only people that wanted that to be counted as tko are usyk groupies and people that put money on an usyk ko. @@8.24. The ref should have scored a knockdown the first time Fury was saved by the ropes. Instead he got in Usykâs way, impeded Usyk, and let Fury survive for 30 seconds bouncing off the ropes until a standing count used up the rest of the round. Call me a fanboy if you want, or watch that all in slo mo and tell me that ref was square and lie to yourself.
@@SideYardCat which first time? That instance was the only knockdown usyk deserved. And fury was wobbled with like 26 seconds remaining so I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers from. Wobbled and then bounced around on the ropes while usyk missed 80% of the strikes while trying to lay him out. Had usyk actually connected on all those shots while fury was wobbled than it probably could've been fair to call it off, but he missed and missed. If anything the ref gave usyk more opportunity to lay fury out....
Mind you my prediction was literally an usyk split decision win...
@@8.24. The first time Fury falls back into the ropes. Thatâs the knockdown from a fair ref. Thatâs the rules. You donât get to stumble from rope to rope with the ref literally getting in your opponentâs way, being saved from landing on your arse every time (unless the ref is full of it). Yeah, Furyâs recovery is legendary. Heâs got spirit.
@@SideYardCat so the ref tried to get in usyks way, almost as if he was going to do something, like , oh idk, do a hard count!... but I suppose that makes too much sense to make sense in biased eyes

They've been slow counting him for years đđđ
Fury's checks he sent to the refs must have all bounced. Weird seeing a decision in boxing that actually made sense and most people agree with
it wasn't a split decision and iam a Fury fan.
If a fighter gets hit with a punch and falls into the ropes and the ropes are the only thing keeping them from hitting the mat then by the rules it is a knockdown. It's a rule that can hinder or help a fighter depending on the situation and how bad they are hurt but it is a rule none the less and has been around for quite some time.
Shit the ref saved him
The scores were actually ludicrous. How anyone can give it to Fury is mind boggling
Round # 9 was most definitely a 10-8 round for Usyk.. This is where all the focus is concentrated.
It's also crazy that Usyk is doing this at 37 years old
Funny, that he looks younger than Fury
Proves skill and speed can beat size and strength
Donât let it be lost that this was a comeback win. Usyk fought through a ton of adversity. Personally I had almost counted him out going into the second half. He looked tired and hurt a few times. Fighting through that to get the victory really made the win all the more special.
exactly,it wasnt an easy win for Usyk,he had to dig deep for this W
The in fight odds on an Usyk win ballooned to $7.50 half way through the fight - great odds given that he finishes strong.
Ya he started strong. But in the middle rounds fury started piecing him up. Then in the ending rounds he started coming back rocked fury and ran away with the rest
Agree. People want to act like he ran through Fury. Even Weasel's commentary is biased in that direction. It was so close at the end I fully expected either a draw or SD.
Yeah, I thought from the 3rd onward it looked like Fury had found his groove, had the measure of Usyk and was really starting to have fun. The body shots were causing Usyk big problems and Fury was frustrating his skill. After the 6th I thought it was a wrap.
What a great fight, lived up to the hype and then some.
I have been watching MMA since the nineties and kinda watch boxing, but I have never yelled louder for a finish and be so pumped than when I was as Fury bobbled and toppled all over the ring back and forth into the different side of the ring ropes like a drunken gypsy pinball
Boxing can be really exciting when both fighters are really going for it.
i swear fury's spirit left his body when he got rocked in the 9th. you can see usyk watching it go to heaven paying respect before punching back in đ
You can see when he regains consciousness he give a bloody faced nod across the ring to Usyk as if to say âyou got me goodâ
It's a rule in boxing, if the ropes are holding the opponent up it's considered a knockdown apparently.
Watch the end of Ray Mercer v. Tommy Morrison if you want to see why that rule exists.

I've been like that for a while too, but I have to admit I would rather Usyk be the face of boxing than Fury. Fury's still a great fighter though.
Weasels fight breakdowns are unmatched literally the best.
I thought the ref was just confused, like he was thinking about stopping it but couldnât make up his mind
nope, the ref was following boxing rules - if the punch sends fighter to the ropes, ref could/should consider that as knockdown. But yeah, the ref was getting closer because he was thinking about stopping the fight for sure, but then Tyson felt to the ropes...
â@@RogueEvabut the count was very long
@@fumo1317 imo not, normal boxing counting... also, it doesn't matter, i don't understand what prompt people to knitpick something which didn't made any importance in the fight. Also, 8 count is called 8 count, not 8 seconds timer
@@RogueEva Why bother calling it an 8 count when the number bears no relevance, nor accountability, to what actually transpires? One referee can give an 8 count in roughly eight seconds, but it takes another referee fifteen seconds to perform the same task. How is that fair? Would a twenty second 8 count be questionable? How about 30 seconds? Exactly how many seconds should a referee take to deliver a mandatory 8 count before people start questionning their impartiality? According to you, it is never.
@@nomdaploom it does bear relevance - it's called 8count because ref counts to eight. Fury has been a blight on heavyweight boxing for so many years. One of the most protected and overhyped. I really wish it could have ended in a big KO...but the Doughnut King would still have an excuse.
Overhyped? He lost, but letâs not exaggerate here. Fury has been at the top of the HW boxing for years; and I agree with the experts that itâs difficult to see anyone else beating him. Giving a boxer a standing 8 count when the ropes keep them up is how the rules of the fight are written. The ref did a good job
I think the problem is the ropes kept him up 3 times but only on the 3rd time did the ref score it as a knockdown
@@WCSGolf why would that be a problem? It's quite easy argument to make that first few times he bounced from the ropes, but than he was obviously out on his feet and really sat in the ropes. Great ref.
@@RogueEva I'm not disagreeing.. I was just pointing out what people were complaining about
â@WCSGolf ridiculous complaint. The ref gave usyk a chance to finish him by not stopping it the first time fury fell into the ropes. Eventually he had to score a knockdown. People are just clueless whiners trying to sell a certain narrative
@@WCSGolf ah, i see, i haven't seen this one. I only read complaints comming from not knowing the ropes/knockdown boxing rule :)
The ref saved Fury, yes, he saved him from getting seriously hurt. People don't understand, the ref is there not just the make sure the fight is fair, but to protect the boxers as well. Fury was clearly out on his feet and about to go down, it was obvious the ropes helped him stay up and that's when the ref stepped in. It was fantastic refereeing. Just go back to 1991 and look at what Ray Mercer did to Tommy Morrison, there is no need for anything like that in boxing again.
The referee made the correct move, Fury was knocked down - the ropes was the only thing keeping him up - so as according to the rules the ref stepped in and gave the count.
glad someone knows boxing rules, although majority will blindly repeat the nonsense about corrupt ref đ
First time I bought a PPV. This fight was nice. Not Fury-Wilder trilogy great but nice. History has been made, and Usyk deserves the win, 100%. I was shocked to see the ref go between the fighters when Usyk was on the way to finish Fury off, but did not stop the fight. Counting this standing KO saved Fury. No doubt. Finally, Fury's excuses after the fight was absolutely disgraceful: not only did he clearly lose this fight but it should even have been a KO.
CONGRATS USYK! You climbed the Everest and I was blessed to be able to watch it.

Thank you for mentioning the ref. I was trying to explain to my friend that I thought it was BS, Tyson got a standing 8 count because he was caught on the ropes and didn't take a knee, when he couldn't defend himself the ref should've stopped the fight, I thought.
If you fall into the ropes and they're holding you up it's counted as a knockdown. Ref did the right thing according to the rules.
nah, the ref was great, Tyson was out on his feet but he sat in the ropes which is the same as if he would take a knee. 8count was great decision, Tyson haven't been saved by ref, but yeah, he was saved by belt, which is normal.

The referee saved Fury from being Kod in round 9, he was defenseless on the ropes and was about to absorb clean punches from Usyk. Best analysis heard so far, well done! Agree 100%. Finally things told for what they are.
It's crazy how the fight wasn't stopped at round 9, the ropes were literally holding Tyson from falling down over & over. Imagine something like that in MMA, the ref will get chewed up raw by everybody, perhaps this is why boxing is losing ground to other combat sports.
What? No, bc tyson is known for enduring so someone like that gets a pass. Also the stakes are higher.
The ropes holding Tyson up is why it went the way it did - the rule is that this is treated like a knockdown, so the count must start.
the size difference here is crazy. this is like if islam makachev beat yoel romero
Size doesn't matter as much in boxing as it does in wrestling
Love this canât wait for the rematch!!!
Great analysis .thanks
The fury that fought tonight was nothing like the one that fought ngannou
Because this was a real boxing match against a heavyweight champion and he took it seriously.
â@@billybatts8283 exactly. I was rooting for Usyk but i knew Fury didn't take that Francis fight seriously and half ass train.
Ngannou? The guy who wasnât even a real boxer who arguably won that fight against the supposed heavyweight champ?
That fight was when most people noticed a decline from Furyâs ability. He lost to Ngannou and now to a superior boxer.
@@TheGamingLagoons if you think the fury that showed up against usyk wouldnt have run rings round ngannou you are a fool. if usyk fought the fury that fought ngannou its over in 3 rounds
7:10 I find it so crazy how slim Furys legs are, surely carrying around that weight all the type would cause massive calfs?
Like a Flamingo. đ
8:41 like I don't mean to body shame the guy.. but it just doesn't make sense.
â@@mrnicktoyou it's wild... like Wilder had tooth picks for legs, but he was ripped as heck. Furys love handles have love handles.
Brother you gotta post faster, I was waiting up for hours after the fight waiting for your post lol. Love your vids, thanks for the review on the fight
I wish i had a boxing/MMA coach like you Weasel. Again, what an excellent breakdown. You calling the fights live would be a dream!
Usyk being able to pile on damage to furys chin after cracking him makes me think Furys chin wont hold up in the rematch either.
could be. iam worried for that.
but Fury will be better in the rematch. inactivity made him gass out
And Usyk will be even better.
â@@Marabarra94 Yeah the impact or Furys punches was crazy. And he took Usyks shots very easily if you consider how many times he got cracked. Fury should be more aggressive and use the uppercut earlier in the next fight. He has the greatest gift in boxing, you can never count him out, being so fast at this size is just not fair.
â@@AlphaMelGibsonđđđ he will never beat usyk
I don't actually understand Furys gameplan. I predicted him coming extremely heavy and clinching putting all that weight on Usyk, cutting corners and taking away his backfoot. But dude couldn't even counter Usyk going towards body.
Congrats to Usyk
Been saying Usyk would whoop everyone at heavyweight since he KO'd Bellew
he did but he went to some hard rounds. i thought he was gone after the 6 but he showed incredible heart
Excellent analysis!
Usyk's response post bout is even more legendary
People treated Fury like God. It was almost blasphemous to pick Usyk to win.
Even after the loss people still find a way to glaze. âTyson has a titanium chin.â Nobody said that about AJ when he got caught. đđđ and Fury was a bouncing around all over, and the ref gave him that Haney treatment đ
bruh what most ppl picked usyk
â@@SeeingShadowscap. Most people picked fury
@@SeeingShadows Youâre joking right? Tyson Fury was a favourite on almost every gambling platform you could find. I recall him being a -120 favourite on Draftkings.
I also recall only 44% of people picking Usyk to win on the live DAZN fan zone. 56% picked Fury. You had guys like Paulie Malinaggi claim he would be the Greatest of all time if he beat Usyk.
This is a guy with 6 world title fights, and 3 of them against the same guy in deontay wilder. People genuinely gave Fury so much special treatment.
Nobody says Fury has a crazy chin, they all say Fury has incredible recovery ability. Fury has been down 8 times in his career, why would anyone say his chin is great?
@@CombatCinema12 -120 and 56-44% is extremely close. Doesn't at all sound like "everyone was picking Fury."
Berinchyk also just beat Navarrete, overall big night for Ukraine in combat sports.
Yes, the massively corrupt criminal enterprise of a country, gets a rare victory
Dope breakdown
Tysons corner telling him he was ahead was crazy
The small man came to fight.
The big man came to clown.
Very good breakdown.
That Flurry having Fury out on his feet really looked like a TKO stoppage.
I don't even care that this ended in a decision, this fight was as entertaining as I thought it would be. Incredible performance from both guys!
agreed. as a Fury fan i loved it!
fantastic skills and heart from both guys.
a shame that the ref saved Fury, great Performance by Usyk
Great analysis
Nice analysis
LONGEST COUNT EVER SEEN. 1 TO 15. The left straight of USYK was already set for the final blow. The referee intervened but did no count yet. Does not pay to be a gentleman, your opponent coud rise up from the dead.
You would think they would introduce a ring side electronic count that the ref signals to start and has to count the right speed, not to slow and not to quick and have to wave it off. The discrepancies are so obvious half the time.
Boxing is so corrupted, Usyk won by TKO
This fight is so entertaining and very technical as advertised.
When fury was winning the early rounds. My brother and my dad were watching it with me and I told them , âitâs a wrap, Tyson might finish him or heâs gonna put it on him the rest of the fightâ thatâs how down usyk seemed and how bad it was for him in the first half of the fight. I canât believe he came back like that. What a fight man
Boxing sucks, Iâve got nothing against the 2 in the ring, itâs all the shady leeches orbiting around whoever those 2 are.
Dana White is the same
