Yup, two big KO's added to his record this year. Dariush is the man, I hope he carries this momentum into 2021. He's already on a 5 fight win streak with 4 straight finishes (2 submissions, 2 KO's). I'd like to see him fight up the rankings, he's currently ranked 12 and he hasn't fought Al Iaquinta (10) or Paul Felder (8) yet.

He was nearly KO'd twice against one of the best & most powerful punchers in the sport, and came back from both knockdowns so strong. I wouldn't complain at all if he was here. He belongs in the fighter of the year candidates too

@@AkamapD yeah reem isn’t really much of a counter striker at this point, if you attack him he’ll just shell up and wait for the storm to pass. This has a couple side effects: 1) he’s not gonna win many early rounds 2) his opponents often gas out trying to put him away early. Sakai wasn’t as much of a “comeback fight”, more so an execution of a good strategy to trust your defense & cardio, and attack in the later rounds

@@SuicideVan Yeah I heard he's actually going out to Thailand pretty soon to start training. He's very young so hopefully he can pick up striking quickly. Looks like he needs to work on some strength and condition to build up more power too.
@@SuicideVan Agree 100%, he's only 21 years old. Just because he's getting some recognition early doesn't mean he should get fast tracked. Let him develop organically and improve his skillset over time with sensible opponents.
Chase is a kid who's trying to learn UFC on the job, think most people will struggle with that. I don't see many champions who were even at this level at his age
Spending 6 months doing strength work and building muscle will pay dividends in the long run while he works on his stand up. That should help get him to a point where his strikes at least seem like they could hurt someone.

I hope Cifers finds success in Invicta or something. She's a game fighter who was willing to step up and take fight after fight during this whole Covid business. Plus, she pushes the pace in every fight and is legit strong AF. Maybe not the most skilled fighter, but still fun to watch, win or lose.
