Really a fan of these. Never owned a boat in my life and I'm now in my 60s. This may be the first!

Single mom, who loves to go out on the water with my daughters to paddle board. This looks like it would be perfect for what I want to do. I've not much experience on boats but lots of time on sea doo jet skis and the water. I think more intimidated backing the boat down to the water. Does this boat come with a trailer? if so wondering about tow weight? I have a 2022 Palisade unlmt. Would a Palisade be fine with this size boat?

Thank you for doing this video very informative. I'm curious though no where I see on the online configuring does it give the option for the swim platform that's something I really would want. Can you suggest?

You're wrong about the switch not being able to handle rough water. JetBoatPilot did rough water just fine with the Seadoo Switch. It's made to run in both sweet or salt water. Be correct.

LOL I wholly stand by my assessment. Even BRP doesn't want folks going offshore in it.

I own a 2022 18' 170hp. I live off the Chesapeake Bay in salt and brackish water. Rough and calm it has performed excellent. Great video. One thing I would point out to folks is this is a giant vacuum cleaner lol. I would suggest staying in 4ft or more of water. I do idle into our dock where it will get as low as 2ft but as soon as I am back in 5ft or more I run the IDF. This is a great boat and I have had zero issues in the now 3 summers I've been running it. Thanks for the video!

Great video. Did this this switch have to to install a catalytic converter in order for the swim platform add on.

Great review, Kevin. Very comprehensive and informative. Thanks so much! Would you happen to know if the rear deck can be removed to fit it a shorter garage or is it permanent? Also, would you happen to know the height with the bimini lowered while on the included trailer? We have a Wake Pro that fits in our garage just fine for comparison sake. Thanks! 🚤👍

so this would not be good for the ocean but what about a bay that opens to the ocean? Water still too rough for the Switch?

Nice to see the Switch has done well. My family might pick one up to replace our 20' Sea-Ray bowrider as our summer boat sometime in the future, assuming that we also obtain an aluminum boat with a closed cab for year-round work use and for bad weather, cause the BC coast does not play around with rain.

With those outriggers not being water tight, how do you clean and dry them for transport across states that do boat inspections?

That's a good question. They must have drain plugs right? I'm guessing it like any regular aluminum pontoon. Maybe a threaded plug?

Is it able to handle 2-3ft chop? My lake is unpredictable but usually has 1-2ft waves in the daytime. Not wide open in 3ft but would it be dangerous on plane?

AGAIN, this is for smooth water.

I bought a 21 feet with a 230hp. I went out with 8 people and the weather turned so there were 1-2 feet waves. Going into the wind I could not get on plain so I was going about 10 miles an hour (I was in eco mode). I used 7 bars of gas to travel about 10 miles. I was running on empty for the last mile. I thought I was not going to make it. The day before I used 3 bars of gas and went about 20 miles with 6 people on board in calm water.

As a 2 year owner I can tell you the 21/230 Cruise handles up to 4 foot waves with ease even though I do not recommend it (ease on the boat, not the passengers). Been there done that.

How would this be in the Chesapeake Bay? I'm concerned that it is "smooth water only". Chesapeake Bay, while not the Atlantic Ocean, does have some waves and whatnot.
