When I first got married, I would always joyfully tell others: It is such a joy to JUST submit! And they-all of them would REALLY laugh.
But really... To finally have someone make decisions and call the shots and all I need to do is follow? Such a blessing for me!
You may find this funny like my friends- or even, unfair. But it's this mindset that really helped the independent (single) woman in me transition well to be a submissive wife.

I am a single mom of three. I always see this vlog but had no time to watch it because of work. Thank you Bettina for making weekend empowered. God just freed me in a relationship that was not for me last July. And now I am embracing my single season. I have learned a lot from your blog and srarted praying to God if He has a man for me. I have now learned to depend on Him and appreciate the approval/blessing of family to the man you're dating. Though I heard my kid saying she wants me to have a husband, I still want to wait on God's deeper confirmation. Hope all sibgle moms here will be bless with Bettina's vlog. More of this please! It also got my attention when you mentioned that Mickey said being an instant dad and a husband to a single mom is a special calling. Thats really amazing. I agree with all that you have shared with us. All your tips are all stucked in my mind and heart and Im sticking to them all so I wont have to be misled again. God bless you!!!
