    I highly recommend this pack. I’ve put it through its paces and I can say that it held up perfectly. You really get what you pay for with Osprey. But, it is quite expensive. Ultimately, go with the bag that best fits your budget and needs, but if you do go ahead with an Osprey bag, please consider using my link. It's a great way to support me and my content and its of no additional cost to you.

    How strict did you find TAP air to be with their baggage policy? I am flying with them in a few days and the 2kg weight limit for a personal item seems quite harsh if they strictly enforce it.

    • @noahanderson14
      @noahanderson14  Před 10 dny

      Not very strict at all! I only saw like 1 person have an issue and it was because their bag was way too big. I don’t think they’ll ever check weight, they’ll only stop you if your bag is obviously too big in my experience.

    • @noahanderson14
      @noahanderson14  Před 2 měsíci

      I initially budgeted 10 grand (shout out to the corporate internship I worked😅). But ended up spending way less than that. I’m currently working on adding up all my costs and I’ll do a cost break down soon where I’ll go through exactly how much I spent! Keep an eye out for that! :) but also I went in the “shoulder” season so you’ll probably end up spending more if you go now. Almost always staying in hostels. Sometimes in Airbnb’s, depending on if it’s cheaper if I book with friends. The weather is going to depend on where you go! You can google average weather for the month in each place you want to visit and it’ll give you a likely range for each location. Hope that helps!

    I'm currently packing for my trip to Spain and it's really interesting how much more I have to pack as a woman. Clothes should be about the same, but toiletries is more and I also have random items in my backpack that I might need in everyday life.

    • @noahanderson14
      @noahanderson14  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I personally chose my AirPods as opposed to my Sony XM-1000 over the ear headphones to conserve space! At first the downgrade to the AirPods was annoying but I’m used to it now. I even use them to sleep occasionally when I’m in noisy hostel rooms. At the end of the day it’s your personal preference but for me it made the most sense from a space standpoint.

      I like the quality of sound ypu get from over-ear headphones a lot but they are bulky, You could just put them around your neck if that is ok with you so you can save money instead of buying smaller ones but smaller ones are just a lot more practical.

      @@Nutsackfart I think I will upgrade at some point, but only because the drone itself is a bit beaten up. I still think it is a great drone. I've had it for 4 years now. It shoots in 2.7K. For my purposes, that quality level is plenty. I don't really see the need for 4K drone footage for me at least. I know some people always want the best but I still think the DJI Mavic Mini is quite good, especially at that price point. If you learn how to use it properly, the output can be quite good. I have a drone montage in my recent "Backpacking Portugal" video that you could check out to see the quality you can get with this drone. I didn't color grade or edit the footage at all. That was straight out of the drone. Ultimately, you should get a drone that fits your needs the best, but again I think you can get a high quality drone without breaking the bank.

I have my 10 grand and I am working some dead end jobs to pay off my car and pay for the rest of my gear plus my plane ticket. Your video is more relatable because of these other videos are giving there real opinions and there not traveling traveling they are only going for a weeks. The bag weighs with everything so far about 39lbs which is fine with me I am use to do 35lb rucks with my 35lb vest and uniform on every week and I am capable of being just fine with this. probably gonna end up weighing 45lbs I plan on living out of this and it still has room to add about 4-5 day worth of food which i doubt I'll carry more than 3 days at any given time. I will likely remove a few things before I go like my silks but I am unsure but I am sure I will add a few things

      That's an impressive packing list for only 40lbs! Also, I'm glad my video was relatable for you, Andrew! Best of luck with your packing and your travels. Sounds like it's gonna be a great trip! :)
