God Bless you..I lost my sister about a year in a half ago and my mom died from lung cancer and brain cancer. My sister had ear nose and throat face cancer..women are really strong and Men are brittle and get angry and scared..my daddy gets quiet and distant..You guys have beautiful souls..

God Bless you! My husband suffered a major stroke front left lobe in 2014. Year after that the grand mal seizures started! In 2018 the dementia started because of the strokes! I quit my job to be his full time care giver! Wouldn't want it any other way! Don't trust the care homes! Afraid of him being abused! Even though he has changed because of the dementia I still love him just as strong! I watch a bit of him being taken away every day! Slow process and hard process! Love is what's getting me through it all!

Robin, I did the same thing with my husband. He started having trouble in 2001 and I took care of him full time from 2008-2014 till he passed. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m disabled myself but the hardest part was watching the decline. He didn’t know me at all the last year or so. A friend who is a doctor in Atlanta told me I’d gone 99% further than most people do with a loved one. That shocked me. Like you, I can’t imagine having done it any other way. But it seems you and I are in a somewhat special group of people. God bless you for doing this for him. I know how hard it is. Make sure you take care of yourself too though. ❤️🙏🏼

I listened to you intently. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, beginning in the large intestine and traveling to my head. A year plus in and I'll never be the same.
Fight the fight and tell Scott to do the same. You know it's not a death sentence, and you are a warrior!!!

It does take work. I heard Jase Robertson say that him and his wife "have absolutely nothing in common except Jesus and that is enough". I t hit close to home and shows what the power of a shared love for the Lord can do. I'd love to see you and Scott appear on the Robertson's podcast "Unashamed"

I was alone too during my breast cancer. My husband was home dying of lung scarring. The way I told my husband that I had it was I sang, and the race is on and here comes Robin in the backstretch, David had a little head start. He looked up and said LORD this woman you gave me. He died at 58 years old. My best weapon is humor. God is with me and David is now with God. I will see him when God is ready for me. God bless and keep yall.

I was having identical twin girls
And I started to bleed and I lost one

I never watched tv a whole lot when I was a bit younger, so although I recognized your husband's name, I had never watched any of the shows he was in. Somehow recently I stumbled across one of his videos here on youtube and the title of the video alluded to the fact that he was conservative so I clicked on it to hear what he had to say. It's always seems kinda amazing to hear someone who was in Hollywood speak common sense. Anywho in that first video you guys were conversing at one point and I liked the way you talked and the things you had to say. I could tell you were spunky and one of those people who is genuine. So now Ive started watching your story here. First of all no man is without sin, so if there are still people out there who want to try to hold something from your past against you, they need to look at themselves. Also your Lord Jesus Christ has forgiven those things, so who cares what they think. My mother had non-hodgkins lymphoma at one point in her life. It was a melon sized tumor that they removed from her abdomen. She went through chemo and dang I saw what that did to her. But she recovered and was given a clean bill of health. Ultimately when my mother left this earth, cancer had nothing whatsoever to do with it. She passed away from a pulmonary embolism as she lay sleeping peacefully in a bed. You are such a strong woman and I feel like a total whiner for the things I've complained about recently. Hearing how you handle the situations that life has thrown at you makes me want to do better and be more appreciative of my life. I am happy that you and Scott have each other and your lovely daughter, but most of all that you guys have The Lord God as your savior. I'm glad you guys are on our side. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

My Dad had Alzheimer’s...the most horrible disease ever! I’ll never forget the moment when he, my hero, didn’t recognize me. 😢. Hope they find a cure so nobody else has to go through that nightmare. You and Scott are amazing together. Thanks for sharing your journey.

I honestly never knew anything about your story before now, but I get the feeling that you and Scott are an amazingly strong couple. I’m so happy that you two found each other. The best marriages go through the toughest of times but come out stronger for it. My husband and I married in 2010 after both having failed marriages and we’ve been through a lot too. But one thing that will always keep us together is our love and dedication to each other. No matter what happens or what kind of crazy trouble our kids get into, we always have each others backs. The way I see it is, when you know that no matter what happens, you will always love and have the love of your spouse, you shouldn’t ever worry about what anyone else says. You two have a very strong love for each other and I have no doubt that you’ll live happily ever after💜💙💜💙💜💙
