I love how much you care for animals, my mum said my mice a spoiled, but if she saw yours, she would say they lived in heaven 😍
My mom says that about mine too, she really has no idea about spoiled 😂
@@mikaelaline9182 yeah 😂
I know I’m late but same
Same
Same
Love how the mice rolled off the brown tunnel
Your mice are gorgeous
❤ ❤ ❤
Pearl made me laugh climbing the plant in the background 😁.
AWWWWWWW LOOK AT THEM AT THE BACK THEY ARE ADORABLE. I JUST WANT TO HUG THEN AND SQUISH THEM TOO CUTE
Hallo.I am Japanese.
I like your movies.
I want to get mouse,but I can't get it.Because I don't have time😢
Your mice and rats are so cute💘
I’m actually starting a hamster foster home and I hope that I can start rescuing mice as well ;-)
That’s great! I hope to have the space to foster in the future 😊
Thank you! ❤️
This sounds personal, but where is your foster home? Looking for some hammies :)
@@vivothemusicalkinkajou6370 hahaha commented this 2 years ago, no longer doing it sorry
Congrats with the sponsor!
Thank you!
I just realized that the video was posted on my birthday 🎂
I jury-rig foraging toys for my rats often. Their favorite is the "pinata". I use a hollow ball with holes and some kind of string. Stuff the ball with goodies then tie to the top of the cage. Keeps them entertained for hours! Should work with mice, maybe use a wiffle ball?
Another good tunnel for rats and mice are Pringles tubes! Love the video
i’m so proud of you Em, your channel has been growing so much and you deserve it. you honestly deserve more subscribers than *cough* tnd *cough*
Nice pfp!
AYO YOUR USERNAME- MY HAMSTERS NAME WAS MURPHY AND HE RECENTLY PASSED AWAY-
For mice you can get a really small wheel that would be too small for any animal to run on (there are ones out there 😢) and attach a piece of cardboard with holes in it on the front and then put treats inside
Thanks! There is a CZcamsr called ShadowTheRat that shows you how to make it
Just what I needed, intending a shopping spree for the meeces and now I’ve got some ideas!
3:31 omg im laughing so much this adorable!
3:32*
Bought the little toy mouse and my mice have been loving it! Thanks for making such wonderful videos.
3:32 MOM WHY DO YOU RECOMMEND THIS AAAAAAAAAAAAA
Lol 🤣 why hasn’t this blown up
When I was a kid we had a big tank with about 10 female mice in it. We had a fisher price barn and they loved to climb and hide in it.
Happy 100-th Video!
just a tip. In sweden at least, you can go into a regular store and buy thick gardening ropes that my mice love to climb on. And they cost less than 1 dollar as well :)
you're awesome. i've had two mice over the past few years. love them so much. have done so many fun things with and for their habitats. love the i've learned even more from you today watching your videos. thank you! :)
This video has been so helpful! I never would have thought to make my own ropes out of fleece. Thank you so much for the idea! I love your videos!
I just found a wild mouse with a broken leg. He is really healthy, only a broken leg. It seemed like a cat played with him. To bad he can't use a wheel.
I'm a year late, but do you still have the mouse? I recently found a very friendly wild one and I'm worried about whether I should keep it or not
@@aydenrae8171 he's white, and ik it's rare to see wild white mice so I assumed maybe he was a feeder or pet, and he's doing perfect in a cage so idk
Pearl seemed to really like your fake plant. 😂 But anyways, this video was great! Really helpful, I have been watching your channel for a while because I have 3 mice and always worry if I’m doing something wrong or I’m buying the wrong food etc. But thank you for this! You just earned yourself another subscriber! 😊
Yay for sponsorships!!
Thank you so much, I’m gonna get a mouse in a couple days and these tips really help😃🐭
Ahhhh you're mice are adorable
Awesome video you are an amazing pet owner 🥀⚘🌷❤
your videos are amazing these tips are very helpful thanks
this was so so so helpful i had no idea what toys and stuff would be safe for them thank you!
I have everything except the climbing frame thing, definitely going to get one!
WOW! Great video! i have mice, but they seem bored so i found out about you! i will sub
Hello !!! I really love your channel and as someone who’s been keeping 5 rats + one mouse ( for the first time ) would you mind giving me some tips on what I should feed them / if there’s DIY options for making toys ? ❤️❤️❤️ sending lots of love from Mexico
Ripster oh I love Mexico!
And rats and mice
You're so close to 20k subscribers!! Congratulations
Thank you! ❤️
can you do an all my pets
I have been wanting a mouse for a very long time and I have been doing so much research lol
I had a mouse who was so unique, she didn't like tunnels and loved to play with me, I miss her
I just got two males! They’re siblings and they’re babies, I’m hoping they will get along in the same cage but I’m prepared for if not! I’m a first time mouse mum so your videos are soooooo helpful!
I love your vids so much
The living world puzzle toy is a really good one 😃
I know that u posted this a year ago but I rly want to say thank u. This video was so helpful. I am going to be getting a (male) mouse and I’ve been doing lots of research on how to take care of him. 💚
I only have one mouse left called Skittles (I did have four) but luckily she’s not upset, she LOVES her wheel and squeaks at is often🥰
thank you for this
A few of my favorite items for mice include Prevue grass tunnel (amazon) & egg-shaped white ceramic water feeder (amazon)...also kaytee's food from the wild foraging blend can increase the time they forage each day by quite a bit when you scatter it (I think it says hamster and gerbil on the package)...you can find this stuff at pet stores or amazon. I ALSO like to buy assorted oxbow hays and feed them a pinch each day. It builds up and fortifies their bedding structures and also increases the amount of time they spend foraging. Fun to watch too
Cant wait to get mice!
Your good at teaching mice
I love this video
im new here and i love mice hamsters and rats and plz make a part two
Your mice are so cute❤❤
I love your mice so cute I'm getting some in 3 months
I saw it okay for mice to run around ur desk unsupervised? For most I was like “pls don’t fall”😂😂😂😊
Mice are very short sighted and will not jump off something if they can't see where they are going to land. That means a mouse will not leap off a table 😊
Yep it's fine! I was still watching them in between speaking, I wouldn't leave them on there and leave the room. Mice have good depth perception, compared to hamsters who will literally just walk off the edge of things, they can tell that it wouldn't be a good idea to jump off :)
@@Emiology I'm not so sure about that. Everything I have read about mouse vision says that they have very poor eyesight and are better at detecting motion which together with excellent hearing helps them evade predators.
@@amandah2490 Yep, they do have poor eyesight but they do use some level of depth perception to judge the distance between them and another object / the floor. Here's a study I found on it: www.researchgate.net/publication/247903267_The_Effects_of_Visual_Object_Size_in_The_Depth_Perception_in_KM_Mouse_The_Effects_of_Visual_Object_Size_in_The_Depth_Perception_in_KM_Mouse
Emiology I noticed that compared to hamsters ive had as a kid, mice seem much smarter and actually aware of whats going on round them vs hamsters that just kind of.... exist? Theyre cute but i really dont think hammies are smart 😅
You are so pretty!
I got me notification three hours later 😭😭😭 but love the video!
Mouse House I got the notification 4 hours later
Seems that a lot of people either didn't get notified or got it late! CZcams is annoying like this sometimes
At least the notification arrives at all.
I got a young male and I use all sorts like card board boxes and tubes etc wheels and he loves it all
I love your accent!
Where I live there are no mice! I really like them and are fascinating to watch but I just can’t find any!not even in pet stores!!
Same here, but I ended up finding a breeder advertised online. You should have a look :)
kms fml will do x not interested right now but in the near future for definite!💕 thanks
U should ask an employer for mice they will take u to the mice there usually not displayed
SOOO CUTE!!!!!😍😍😍😍🤣
Sorry if you have already made this video but I would love to see a tutorial on how you make your ropes,Hope you and your mice and doing well☺️
Bird ladders are also very good for mice to climb on.
I just bought my mice a 8.5 in wheel and a bendy tunnel. They have a 7 in flying saucer but i want to get them another one.
I have gerbils and I feel like everyone will tell you to get them wheels. My gerbils however have never used it. I do keep it in however because a lot of times my gerbils will go on top of the wheel expecting a solid base but then it starts moving and their reactions are priceless. Just a little reminder to people that not all pets are the same.
I got a silent spinner for my gerbils and they eat a good chunk of it so I had to remove it 😟 now I know nothing plastic in their cage. I'd love to get a wooden wheel but its too expensive.
I became a mouse mom for the first time on December 31st to a wonderful little girl named Algernon. She was just a baby, but originally intentioned to be a feeder mouse, so I’m not sure how old she really was. She died not two months later on February 10th from a sudden and fast acting illness... it’s been about a month but I miss her so much. She was such a wonderful being and I wish I’d had much more time with her. Still hoping I wake up and it’s all been a bad dream
Please can you do one of these for rats ❤️❤️❤️ Love your videos 👍🏻❤️
Yep, will be doing one for rats as well!
YAY
3:32 lol u did ur beste lil dude😂
what types of mice do you have, the are really cute
I saw pearl at the edge of the desk and my heart stopped lol. Giving me mad anxiety, Pearl!
What food would u recommend
Do your mice sleep together or separately? Love your vids x
Yep, all three of them sleep together 😊
Good
Omg cuteeee😍😍
There is a small animal foraging toy on viovet. If you go on small animal then toys and scroll to the bottom of one of the pages (I’m not sure which page it’s on) it is called the ancol small animal treat and activity ball. I have seen people use it before but I am not sure if it is good or not. Love your channel btw!
It’s good! I also sell it on my website ☺️
OMG thank you so much for replying I’m such a big fan and I wasn’t expecting you to reply! What is the name of your website? And also does it ship to Australia? Also can you do a video on what to do with your mice when you go on holiday? Love you and your pets so much!
It’s linked in the description and we ship to Australia ☺️
Yay! If my parents finally let me get pet mice or rats I will be sure to check it out and buy from there!
I use those same hammock pods and my girls have always loved them also I cant tell you how many of those pink houses they have gone through 😂 my boy Obi has just chewed through the window as we speak haha
how big of a saucer wheel does a mouse need? my mouse has a 5 inch one, her back doesn't look like it's curving when she runs on it.
Can you use paracord to braid into a rope?
Please upload a video on how to take care of preggy mouse because mine is pregnant, thank you
Would a 7.25 inch flying saucer be suitable for mice?
How big must the wheel be I have one that 6.5 inches for my babies that I don’t have just yet, I’ll be getting a bigger one but is the one I have Igor now okay?
A lot of toys are expensive and not available in Croatia...Can you suggest some home items? Some cheap toys which are fun for them? Thank you!
Could you use plastic hooks with suction cups to put up hanging stuff if you have a glass tank?
Yes! I use the sticky back hooks. They are brilliant!
Where did you get the foraging toy? I've been making my own and I think I need to give my girls a better and harder foraging toy.
Do you have any tips on how to clean mices cage? I accadenty tramatized my mouse who was coming up to me and eatting penut butter off of my finger. But I had to clean there tank. It ended up being 12 at night and I had to get her out so I went through the bedding. What can I do for her to like me Again? She won't even come out when I go up to it.
What food would you recommend for a beginner like me?
High-quality mouse or rat foodblock. Like Oxbow. I suggest skipping a pet store and going to a feed store instead as they may have better deals and larger sizes. Don’t feed them anything by Kaytee as it is a petkiller.
Hey I’ve come to the comment section for advice everyone. I’m thinking about getting one male mouse, but I’m stuck on cages. I’m
leaning towards the 20 gallon long. However since there is not a lot of cage tours for mice on youtube I was hoping y’all will give me your opinion. ❤️❤️❤️
I just got mice and I want to hang things from their cages but I have a glass enclosure how can I go about doing this. the lid mesh isn't wide enough to fit zip ties through
Ermm.... New lid, get a new lid
I'd like to buy the hammock for my mice but my phone just told me the website is not available. What now?!
where did you get the second hammock?
My mouse gusgus has been sneezing and I don't know what to do, my case is ago wired horizontally so my mice keeps climbing it. During the virus outbreak and having strict parents, they never let me take him to the vets. There are also no trusted vets I know I Sydney Australia. Most of the vets I see the people pick the mice up by the tail. Do you know what to do when they sneeze and get little dots on their feet?
Havana Oonana id say persuade your parents to take him to the vet, even if they can’t treat him it’s better to be safe than sorry :)
Hi! I've 4 female mice, now I'm creating for them a diy plexiglass cage 100×50cm, I want to put on top some ropes, can I ask you to do a tutorial on it? I saw that you're creating your own so maybe if it's possible would be a nice idea!
Thank you ^^
I have six girls, would it be better if I bought four more..? I know it is better to house more together but they are living all very comfortably... apart from Rascal (which is exactly why I named her Rascal). But I was wondering if I should purchase more. I have the Ikea Detolf for their cage so I have enough room but I just don’t know if my girls would still live so comfortably.
No you don’t have to ☺️ 6 is fine!
Hey I would really like to get 4-6 mice what is a good size of cage?
Ikea detlof would be good for 4-6
It’s so annoying when I want to get my make mouse a bigger wheel and I live in Newzealand there are only 6 inch wheels and 30.5 cm and I got the 30.5 it’s really big for him.
I really need to ship a 8 inch wheel
was wondering if you use a store bought food mix? i know you use live mealworms, but do you also make their seed/food mix? 😬
I made their food mix myself 🙂
@@Emiology awesome! would you consider doing a video on it? i want to start making my own mouse food mix, but im worried about getting the nutritional values correct. no pressure to do a video, of course, but i think it would be really interesting! (^:
are mice or rats better pets? i really want one of the two! i’ve heard both are social but i want to make sure they will like me! i think both are great but i would like to know which one is easier to take care of with school... could anyone help me?
It just depends on what you want. Rats have more personally and can be very affectionate and can be trained. But they scratch unintentionally and pee on you to claim you (it's a compliment) they also have more of an odor than mice.
Mice are fun to watch and are gentle. The females don't smell very much (males can) they can learn to look for you and even climb in your hand when you reach into the cage.
I prefer mice but either make good pets.
Can you please show is a tutorial how you made the ropes
Karina & Pearl they are just braided
I'm planning on watching this video when I get some more $$$$$ :)
Great Video 👏👏👏👏😘😘😘😘🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰🥰
Can we get an update on ur leaf insects pls!
Not until there’s something to update, right now nothing has happen but I will do an update when they hatch
I have 3 mice and I have everything on this list ✨🥰😆😃 ps. It’s my bday today 🥳
What about real or fake plants?
if youre looking for a big hide for several mice to sleep in, i recommend bird houses! I use this one: www.amazon.com/dp/B00FFWI3N4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_1WYVFbH2GVM55?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I cut the door off and glued it back on in an open position! You can do something similar with most little wood birdhouses
