1. *a mouse*
okay...lol
PEACHY PETPARADISE I thought it was funny 😅
no you need a rhino
Alex Wetmore you need the cage at four you can get them out because I need the cage to put the mouse in
👏👏👏😂
When I got my first mouse, I made sooo many mistakes.. the wrong food, wrong wheel, wrong cage.. ugh
But now I still have that mouse (and many others) and thanks to you, they now have proper care :D
Thank you so much, I’m so glad I found this video when I fid
D3AD INSID3 same, I feel bad for my first mouse. I had all the wrong stuff, now I have others and they are much more healthy and happy.
sometimes you feel a bit bad cos in the wild these animal explore HUGE areas but then we put them in tiny cages. I want at least a big cage. Like some floor to ceiling operation. A robotic cleaning system. Like a car windscreen wiper, sweeps the cage clean with the press of a button. Even automating a fish tank can be an unpleasant looking DIY contraption. Cat's are better animals, fully self maintaining.
hi! i’m actually looking to get a few female mice soon, and i’ve found there are quite limited resources for care information! i’m having trouble finding info especially on nutrition and behavioral things (how to pick out mice that won’t fight, etc). do you know of any good sources of info or tips? you seem experienced hahah
I remember feeding it just sunflower seeds, sausages because this pet shop doesn't have seeds and stuff. I was a child
Actually mice dont need wheeles, hamsters are more runners and mice like to climb on things
Ripped up toilet paper is good for their sleeping area
Coronavirus: *am i a joke to you?*
So that’s where all the toilet paper went 🤚🏼
Finally, a very detailed video 😭👏👏
Thank you! :)

Also for hides you can use mugs! You can find really cute ones at thrift stores just make sure all of your mice can fit in it at once. ❤️🐭
Yes those too :)
Cute! If I get two females I’ll definetly use that!
Bruh is it okay if I just grab one from my kitchen or is that gonna be dangerous
Aeshima I think you’ll be fine but maybe wash it out with some detoxic stuff that you use for the cage and toys?
@@anaeliiz just wash it with mild soap and warm water!
My pet mice like pooping in their bowls.
So they poop in food
Same
Same...
It's actually normal for mice to poop and pee nearly everywhere they go, it's how they locate themselves and find the right track when living out there
Sameee xD there so cute tho so I don’t mind ❤️❤️
Yay this is a sign! I was just talking to my mom about getting a mouse/mice
Aw sure sounds like it! I hope you can get them :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE
Thank you so much!
꧁Elle The reader꧂ yes!! i ended up getting the mice, they’re all passed away now but they were really happy 🥺
Hahaha same but my mom said no no I don’t like mice 🐁 me :o
I hope to get my friend's 3 females , because she got them for a science fair project with no plan for their future. She will likely not be able to keep them, and they will probably go to her science teacher. Her teacher has no experience with rodents, only reptiles (he won't feed them to the reptiles, btw). His reptiles are in cages improperly set up and sized. I really want to help these poor girls, thanks for the info.
Awh that sounds awful. I really hope you can rescue them and you definitely sound like you'd give them a really loving home :) I'm glad this video helped you!
:o thats sound terrible :(
did you get them?
What parents would buy their kid living creatures for a science fair experience? I hope you were able to get those poor babies a good home.
Hi, I'm a snake owner. (oh god)
My snake does not want to eat frozen anymore, even though I've tried everything.
So I intend on feeding live, sadly enough. This however does not mean I want the mice to suffer.
I plan on getting full settups and propper care for the mice i bring in, so they will live comfortably and happy
But i do not know where to get one.
I don't want to support mice breeder mills but i also don't want to take away anyone's future pet.
Any thoughts on where I could get any ethically?
Oh how cute are they?! Love!!!
Aren't they just?! 😊 Thank you!
I didn’t think I would see you on this channel I just came from your video
Thanks for this vid. My 11 year old son has just asked for a mouse for his birthday next month. I honestly have no idea about mice. I found all this info very helpful!
I'm glad you found this helpful 🙂
“They are also provided with ventilation, so ventilation is provided.”
Good to know.
Every 60 Seconds In Africa, A Minute Passes
Picnic Blanket wow never knew that
When you eat an apple, there is one less apple in the world! 👀
👄
I read this comment while the video was on and like 1 second after it said that
Thanks so much! Recently I have been doing lots of research myself and i know that you, owning mice, will know a lot 😁
You're welcome! That's great, I hope you are learning a lot from your research and I also hope my few mouse videos are helpful too :)
This is a really great video for anyone who wants to learn more about mice :) I was looking for informative videos for a school work and yours is definetely one I want to use!
Thank you! I'm glad this helped you :)
Great video as always ,, I have been waiting for your new video impatiently for ages now rewatching your old ones ( I could watch 20 videos a day ! ) so I’m very happy to see a new one. Also I love your hair in this video it looks really pretty!
Aw thank you! :) That's so sweet, thank you so much :D
Thank you so much for making such informative videos! I'm not looking to get a mouse in the near future but your hamster videos were amazingly helpful when I was a new owner!
You're welcome! I'm glad my hamster videos have helped you :)
I am glad you made this video. This could teach so many people about mice.
I love how she just got straight into the video because utubers take ages to get to the point
I learned everything my mouse needs all from your amazing DETAILED and NOT confusing videos! thank you so much for all the help and thank you so much for creating all your videos! P.S
Thanks for the video. Great information, well edited. Nice one!
I want a male mouse so I should just get one so they don't fight am I correct
Clappin Mad ya
I would not they smell SOOO bad it might be more expensive but get 2 females trust me
I have a male mouse and yes they do have more of a oder then females but I have a male and he loves the attention that I give him most males like your attention more than females because you are the only thing playing with them and with females they don't ever need the attention of a human because female mice have each other so with males you have to pay more attention with males than with females because females have the attention of each other and males don't
You should get 2-3 Females because 1: they stink less 2:they don't fight and 3:Females enjoy living together more than male mice that's just my opinion you can make mice if you want •.•
Yay !! Your back again! I'm glad you pointed out the bigger wheel sizes as I see many people using tiny wheels, even the 4.5" silent spinner which is just ridiculous !!! I definitely agree about care fresh being dusty , I only like the ultra ! Do you know if aubiose (hemp) bedding is safe for mice ? I currently use it for my hamster and it doesn't seem dusty but I just thought I'd check ! It also annoys me when people think mice dont burrow as that is so not true!!!!Mine tend to sleep deep in the bedding and not even bother with hideouts ! Great video ! 😘
Yas! :D Yes people don't quite realise just how long mice are, and that just because they are small, it doesn't mean they should be put in a small wheel. Yes I discovered that when I got a bag of colours, I was shocked by the amount of dust that came out. Yes that bedding is also safe for mice, I will probably feature it in my safe and unsafe mouse beddings video :) I know right, mice do burrow and I see mine do it a lot haha. Aw that's so sweet! Thank you!
PEACHY PETPARADISE I'm so glad you make such great mouse care videos as there doesn't seem to be that many channels that feature mouse care ! Thanks for replying!!! Love your videos 😚
PawsClawsScalesandTails I hid the super small wheels at the store lol
another information from this lady, thank you. ♥️ i've said this to one of your video before and i'll say it again.. YOU HAVE A LOVELY VOICE and that made me watched this vid twice. 🤗🤗
THANKS for adding additional info. NOT all just for mice. BASICALLY all animals small or large need more care than people think.
I am hopefully going to get a mouse soon! 🐁 this is by far the best care video! ☺
Pets Add Life Thank you! Glad this helped you :)
I just got my hamster the trixie 12 inch and he’s loving it. Im wondering if i can get a mouse and have time to take care of it but i just might wait a bit. Love your Chanel was a relief when i saw your Chanel popup. P.S do you like marshmelo because i saw you have subscribed to him and he is my favourite.
That's great! Aw well I'm glad to hear that, I hope this helped you :)
P.S yes I do, he has some awesome tracks! :D
Snubbster Who is Chanel?
i found this very helpful! thank you!! 💖🐁
I absolutly love your videos x
Xfiles Aw thank you :)
I love you and your advice really helped me. thanks so so much.
Thank you, I'm glad you found this helpful :)
This is really helpful lol, I’m getting two mice soon that I’m gonna name MooMoo and Mishi and I’m really excited just really hope they like being handled!
This was so helpful! Thank you
Sooooo HELPFUL THANKS!! This will really help with my mouse!
Tysm!! I’m preparing for a pet mouse and want to make sure they have the BEST life they could! This was amazing and very detailed and it helped a lot!
I'm so glad to hear that :)
Your mice are very adorable! ♥️ Loved this video!!!!!!
I know right! :3 Thank you, glad you enjoyed! :)
I had mice and am thinking about getting them with my allowance so have been binging these videos :)
I am about to get a mouse really soon and all that stuff really helped me so thank you
Great video peachy i wish i had a mouse! ;)
And also a few days ago we bought a German Shepherd pup! We dont have her now but we are getting her on the 13th March and iam so excited!!!
Thank you! Aw how exciting, that's amazing! :)
Diva Minsell, COOL! Have fun with you’re soon-to-be puppie!
Pet Craz Aww thank you x ;)
Diva Misell how’s she doing?
thanks so much this was so helpful
I just recently got 2 mice, and soon to be getting another. I’m in the states, but this video was very helpful!!
This video help me the most out of all of them thank you
YASSSS I'M HEREEEEE
Seriously, how amazing is this comment! HAHA YAYYY! Aww thank you, it just felt really short at first but I've gotten used to it now :) Hehe thanks! I know right, they really added the cuteness to the video!
Loved the video! Omg I found the same thing with the carefresh lately! I used to just buy whatever was on sale for the rabbits, most of the time it was the naturals, but now I’ve found recently that it’s just way too dusty for my liking! The colours are virtually dust free along with the carefresh Ultra.
Highly recommend not buying the naturals
Thank you, glad you enjoyed! :) Yeah it does seem to be! Oh that's strange, I remember when I purchased a bag of Carefresh colours, I found it to be very dusty
PEACHY PETPARADISE I have found in the Christmas colours bags or theme bags of carefresh to be a little more dusty but the regular coloured bags or confetti are so low in dust and same with Ultra. It sucks I can’t use the naturals anymore
Thank you for the advice, I’m getting a mouse really soon, today or this weekend
You're welcome, glad this helped you 😊
I keep my mice in 50 gallon shallow tubs, so I can build things in the tub for them to climb with very little limit, and the ventilation is amazing.
So when you say shallow, how shallow exactly? I'm glad they have things to climb on :)
I got my mouse a week ago and this helps a lot, thank you!
Glad to hear that! :)
Phoe's: if she's a girl you should get her a female buddy :) They love company and they are lovely to watch when they play and cuddle together :) :)
Very helpful! My daughter is begging for a pet and we're considering a mouse. I'm almost sold and I never thought I'd say yes to a mouse as a pet. 😂
If you don't want it, just get a snake also in case you change your mind.
@@hunterroznowski9744 UIVGUICYICGYIFGYI
Thank You... Very good tutorial!
thankyou so much this is so helpful!
I'm glad to hear that :)
I'm getting two mice tommorow its a black and white one,I'm thinking of naming the white one snow and the black one flake.Snow-Flake.I'm really excited BC I've never had my own pet before I've had two birds but I didn't have them for very long.I was looking for getting a puppy but I got the idea of mice BC my friend has them, and puppy's are expensive. This video will really help me for what to do and what to feed.Thank you for this video, its the best!.😁
Aw how exciting! That's sweet :) Haha yes puppies are expensive, wise choice there! I am glad this video helped you, thank you! :D
This was an AMAZING video for me to watch!! I haven't owned mice for a few years, and I just came into ownership of a whopping 18. Having so many, I really wanted to make them happy and well exersized. I have them set in big 40 gallon tanks as of right now, but with not many toys. I'm super stoked to go shopping for them now!!
I've already really bonded with one. I've decided to call him stinky rodger, he enjoys chilling in the crook of my neck and shoulder, and will play in my hair. If he leaves me and runs off to the other side of the couch, he always comes back, and to his little spot on my shoulder. He is crazy friendly, only thing is he likes putting his nose in my ear haha!
Omg ty yesterday i got a 2 mouse and i brought some things u recommend and they are both happy tysm
This was the first vid ive ever seen on mice.. Good to know that someone like like urself keeps nice the same way. Thank u for that 🙂 btw it's probably better to keep paper boxes away from them. My female mice, especially one of them goes ham on it lol to set up for her bedding. I give them things to make whatever they want just to keep em busy. Anyway, one of them has a rash around the eye.. pretty sure it's from the paper she chews through
Thank you so much!! This is so helpful! xx
Glad to hear that! :)
Helped me a ton
I have 3 female and let me say this, I learned everything of of you (Evan for my 🐹) I love your channel so much, thank you 😊
Aw that is so reassuring to know! You're so sweet, thank you! 😊
This is so helpful thank you so much!
I'm glad to hear that! :)
I love your videos
Thank you for the instruction!
Michael Nino Aw thank you! And you're most welcome :)
So helpful! Thank you!
Glad to hear that! :)
I really want a mouse, so this video helps so much for what i would need. Many sites told me wrong information, like males love company and you need at least 4 males. Love the video, keep up with great work.
Now all i have to do is convince my parents to get on
It’s super useful that you live in the uk because I’ve seen everything you showed in this video
This was very helpful I have never had a mammal and its helpful to know that I don’t need to worry as much because with a bearded dragon if I don’t have the correct lighting food ect he could die and I like how detailed this vid is
Only thing I would have liked to hear was how frequently do you clean them out? Great video thanks. Looking forward to getting some soon!
For me it was every week with spot cleans about twice a week :)
Thank you sooo much I’m going to tell my parents about it but I’m going to do more research first. Thanks 😊
Thank u for this video ! I’m thinking about getting some mice in the future so I’m doing all the research that is needed :) but I was wondering how often does the cage have to be clean?
You're welcome! Glad this helped you :) Also I would suggest a full clean out least every two weeks and constant spot cleaning should be done weekly :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE thank u for the info and new subscriber :)😃!
You're welcome! Thanks and welcome :)
I’m ssooooo happy as I have had many hamsters in my life but really wanted a mouse and now I can get one as I already have many of the things I need for one including a large detof cage
At 8:06, that wooden ladder thingy, would that work as a chew for mice? I bought one assuming I can seperate it from the metal and it can chew on it.
First time owning a mouse so pretty curious haha.
Yes, almost anything non-toxic Wood they can chew on
I just got my mouse yesterday and he is SO FRIENDLY I adopted him so he must have been handled at the shelter a lot because he just settled right in and takes treats from my hand already so that’s good 😁
I just want to say thanks to you I got my mice about 4 weeks ago and they are living very happily in the hamster plaza knock down cage, which I found from you! I just want to say thank you sooooo much! (: just out of curiosity what is the square inches in that cage?
Aw I'm so glad to hear that! You're very welcome! It's 741 square inches :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE thanks (:
PPP,you said you should only give yoggi once a month does that treats go to rats too
cecilia LaGrutta Yes it does :)
I had a pair of female mice when i was really young. (Too young) and I plan on getting a Little boy, and I needed To brush up on my mouse care. Very well thought out video, and very well organized.
You mentioned playtime and using the tub - when you said that I immediately thought thats the best area to start to tame our little friend as well - if I start in the bathroom it would be easier to safely catch the fast little bugger hehe so thank you!
Thank you!! This video is super helpful. What’s the maximum bar spacing for a cage? Can they squeeze through half an inch? And what cage do you use for your mice?
Glad to hear that! The maximum would be quater of an inch, I wouldn't ideally go bigger than this if you can, especially for baby mice. I used the Alexander Cage for a good while and then I used the Plaza cage for my mice :)
I’m getting 2 female fancy mice soon and this really helped!
My mouse LOVES his Tropical Carnival. I mix other food in as well , hahah. He picks out what he wants.
Hahahah😂😂😂that seems so cute😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Same
I’ve three girls named Chooky, Shooky and Brownie, I had four but sadly my fouth girl Chimchim passed away cuz of cancer. My mice sleeps in their toilet and poops in their food bowl but don’t eat their poo😂My girls are pretty stupid but kind, handtame, funny and beautiful to look at
Ooohhhh super educational video!! 🌟🌟🌟💖 I never had a mouse but, wow, it's very similar to hamsters! I wonder if I can give hamsters the treat you showed on the video, the dried fruit thingy. I always give my hamsters those yogurt but never tried that one.
Hehe thank you! 😄 And lovely to see a comment from you! 💞 Haha yes they are quite similar and yes you can, they are a great healthy treat alternative for a hamster! 😊
Haha I will watch all of your newly updated videos! They are very interesting and so much information to learn!! 😃😃😃 Like today, I learned that I can give my hamsters mouse treats xD!! 👍👍👍 I'm gonna go look for it now lol.
Oh, you shouldn't give them dried fruit. Its wayyyy to high in sugar. But they are pretty similar
Hi, is a play box required if you have a lot of toys in their cage? I also may not be able to play with them an hour a night. I’m considering getting mice, I go to two houses (one for my mom, one for my dad) and I have no pets at my dads. I go their a few days every other week, but he is willing to take care of a pet when I’m gone, although I don’t think he would play with them. I would probably interact with them a lot when I go though there though. I have to go between houses cause parents are divorced.
I feel like it would be better for the environment to use a biodegradable bag for cleaning rather than a plastic bag :)
yeah of course but not everyone has access to those
I have 2 rats and my brother wants mice. This video really helped a lot! I already use aspen bedding! My cage is also the same as the one for your mice! I have oxbow for my rats and was wondering if mice could have the rats food as well. I saw the mouse and rat oxbow but i was wondering for my brother. He’s also really irresponsible and i think i’ll end up caring for them. Haha! This video did actually really help! Thanks so much for the information! My brother definitely seems ready. I’m just anxious he won’t be able to care for them properly. My cage is very good for my two girls and was wondering if mice could live in the same one. I got it from a local pet store and possibly (when he’s ready. With all the money) get the same one? Thanks so much again! and i am an animal lover and might over spoil all the pets i get! I know a bit too much about rats and mice are quite similar. I will defiantly keep watching your videos! I also have the exact same carrier! 😂 mice and rats are SO ALIKE! Again x2 thanks!
Tysm for the advice! I'd love to get a mouse, but I currently have a hamster so not sure if i'll be getting one any time soon haha! Xo
SunsetEdits haha same
also, a good chew I use for my mouse is : apple sticks.
now... its not actually apples. it's actually a little twig from a apple tree. you can find these on Amazon or possibly your local grocery store in the pet isle. hope this helps!
So helpful!
Glad to hear that :)
Hi peachy pet paradise! I loved the video, your videos are always so informative and easy to understand, and your pets are sooooooooooooo CUTE!! But would it be OK if maybe one day you could make a video on how to tame mice please? I love mice, but I don't really know how to them, but this is just a suggestion. Thank you so much for this video, and have a lovely day!!😊
amy burr Hey there! Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoy them! Hehe aren't they just?! And I actually plan on making that :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE thank you!!
Very nice video. On Saturday we went to a local pet shop which recently started selling animals including mice. Before then, finding mice was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Their standard of care is great and the animals seem well socialised. My mum, dad and little brother were rather interested in getting a few mice but we just don't have the space atm.
Thank you! I understand the limitation to find mice, sometimes pet shop is our only option and that's okay. That sounds good, what's the name of this pet shop? :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE it's called Jolleys. Located in Selby, North Yorkshire.
Lol, I'm a reptile keeper and today I was going to feed some mice to my snake and one of them stood out and was super friendly and cute. I held her up and looked at her and held her, and I looked at her other cute friend, the littlest I fed to my snake lol but I kept the older 2 and they are my babies now lmao
Have you look into feed dead mice? I've heard of prey fighting for their lives and hurting snakes so if you can feed dead mice its safer!
Don't live feed it's torture for pray
I have a pet mouse and I made so many mistakes and after watching your video my mouse is so happy thank you for your amazing vidieo
Will a HUGE reptile cage be ok for some mice, I used it for my old hamster.
Love this vid👍
Thank you 😊
I love giving mine treats
So do I
honestly i don’t think they deserve it
Oh there so cute!
Sputnik? like satellite areas? I don't know. . 😣
My mice always love the mice friendly popcorn
I’m working so hard to get a appropriate size cage and food but I’m doing pretty good with enough bedding hides and the wheel
What dimensions do you recommend for a bin, to make a bin cage. Am planning on getting 2-3 female mice in a few months when I'm ready.
50L or more
Yayyyy! Your back! I got my ratties they are Star and Loig! I was previously known as “dog cat dog cat”
Yess! Aw congratulations! :D Haha sorry I don't recognize that name :)
Lol it’s ok!
Your rats in the pic are absolutely adorable by the way, love their markings!
PEACHY PETPARADISE Thanks! It’s hard to tell in the pic, but they have identical markings but on one (Loig) her markings are tan. On the other (Star) her markings are dark grey. Star has black eyes. Loig has one red eye and one crimson eye. Thanks again! Btw Loig is pronounced Loyg.
Btw if you go to my channel my kitten is dressed in his bow tie for the header! It was his thanksgiving outfit! Lol!
What’s the cage you use and what’s the picture in the video? I can’t find any good ones and I have a budget of £60. :C
If you live in the UK you can get the savic plaza hamster and rat cage for £56.25 at pets at home and you can get the Barney pet cage and savic hamster heaven cage for under £60 at zooplus. Hope this helps
Thank you this is really informational. I googled some easy to care for pets and mice and budgie birds were on the top of the list and i was like... uh well birds should not be on that list so im a bit skeptical of mice. Im glad i could find a video with some more detail. Definitely not an easy to care for pet. Regardless, I still will be getting two little girls, i can't wait to give them all the love and toys they deserve :)
I'm glad you found this helpful. Yes well every pet comes with it's care, some people just buy a pet cause it's cute without any research and they often end up not taking best care of that pet and therefore not having the most rewarding experience. I am glad you have researched before taking on board the responsibility. Best of luck to you and your mice! :)
I love using glass jars as hides!
I getting one this weekend yaaaay
Are you getting a male? :)
would it be possible to house one male mouse in a 10 gallon?
No. 20 gallon minimum.
It is, if u have multiple layers and enough toys and chews and ect.
20 gallon is the minimum. there's no ands ifs or buts. it has to be 20 gallons. /nm
Yay I really want to get some mice and I’m excited to see an updated mouse care video!!!❤️❤️❤️ I kindof want to get three female mice but I would be ok with two. Do you think s 40 gallon would be suitable for three I know it’s over the square inches by 46 inches or something like that I was just wondering if you would still recommend it tho❤️❤️❤️
Aw I'm glad to hear that! :D And 40 gallons is equivalent to 450 square inches and for three mice you would need 600 so it is under by 150 square inches for three sorry to say, but you should be able to house two :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE when I measured my 40 gallon breeder cage it is 648 square inches??
That's interesting, you haven't measured it wrong have you? haha
PEACHY PETPARADISE no I measured it in inches too🤔if you look it up on the internet you get the same results like I said (648 sq inches)
Square inches doesn't appear, only cubic for the gallon to inches converter
