As always David Guyton is a brilliant ophthalmologist who was of great value as we worked on a proposal to help pilots avoid entry into myopia - if they had the technical and scientific interest to do so.

Dr. Dave Guyton is an excellent friend.
      A great Ophthalmologist.

I find it easier to use my own test lenses, and my own Snellen.
Thus establishing my own OBJECTIVE refraction.
Since I can clear the 20/20 line, with SPHERICAL MINUS, (if necessary), there is no need to measure cylinder at all.
Currently, I measure 20/20, and check my refraction, objectively, using the "just blur", method, and my test plus lenses.
Thus, I will never ever enter into myopia ever again.
My best regards to Dr. Guyton, who helped us organize a true prevention method (as I described it ) at the USNA, with Dr. Montor and Dr Peter Greene.
    Thank you so much David!

A special word of thanks to Dr. Guyton for providing me with a myopia prevention paper by Dr. Stirling Colgate.
It was of great value to me.

    Nice.
But, with 20/20, it is doubtful that "cylinder correction", is ever even necessary.
To avoid conflict on this issue, I measure my own refractive status, by using my Snellen and Test Lens Kit.
    Refractive status = +0.5 Diopters.

You claim to be an electrical engineer…….who the hell would come to you for glasses?
