the way I do a vacated championship match is set my main title to any show. Then set a custom superstar as the champ, then set up my match with the people fighting for the title. That way after the title match, you can technically said it was vacated because you can delete the character that held the belt.
I don't know if anyone has pointed this out before, but setting the match momentum means the speed of the match (simulation or arcade kinda thing), not how much momentum you receive, because that would make wrestler stats redundant. 2K could have worded it better, but yeah. Source: I tried all 3 back to back with same wrestler
Do you get a star rating for CPU vs CPU matches? They honestly need to just turn universe mode into GM Mode so you can go head to head with a show and get graded on how well you book your matches and angles. Maybe even have an online GM Mode as well so you and a friend can book against each other.

Mrsynditoast If you use the contender system set no one to be a contender for anything. That way it won't set title matches but just random ones instead

I seem to have an issue on my Universe mode that is actually really stopping me from enjoying the mode. With my rivalries whenever I edit a match/create my own match for my existing rivalries it never counts as them as being part of that rivalry. It doesn't update the rivalry screen or the status effects, and it doesn't add anything to the "news" section. Only when I play the auto-generated rivalry matches (which usually are terrible and make very little sense) do they actually allow the matches to count. It sucks because it means I have to manually delete my rivalries and it says I've done no matches with them. It essentially means the rivalries mechanic is pointless for me. I may as well just play a long series of exhibition matches and imagine the rest in my head.

I agree. Apparently the reason why Universe didn't improve for 2k17 is because they said they were doing big improvements to career mode instead. But all we got was a new promo system. At the moment it relies so much on keeping your own storylines in your head; at that point you may as well keep playing exhibition matches over and over.

I believe you can edit and still use the rivalries. I personally don't use rivalries, but as far as I know if you edit a match and put someone who is in a rivalry in, it can still trigger a cutscene.

When you select Finn Balor as a playable character it will come up with alternative attires to choose from. Select the Demon attire and it will change him into the demon. You have to edit the match though to do this. Your other option is to edit superstars and change his default attire to the demon attire.
happens to me constantly displaying before I start the shows as a 9 match show then I start the show and its 13 sometimes 14 matches so annoying hope its fixed soon
