These are actually a bit different than tea cakes (which I love).

Made these tonight, they are really good- really sweet and lots of lemon taste. I skipped the icing but they are still good. Thanks for the recipe. The bottom was hard to brown for me- not sure why.

I tried it at home and it was really delicious and soft ,but I put half of the sugar and it was still a little too sweet.
Next time I will use only 80-100 g sugar and I didn't used the powdered sugar+ lemon juice topping because without them they were still really delicious 😋

I love every dessert with lemon. If you add the lemon zest to the icing, let it sit for a few minutes. the oil from the zest will give more flavor.

Sarah Dugger, if you are diabetic, which I am, use 'Sugar In The Raw' instead of Splenda.

Those look so delicious! My daughter & I are definitely going to make these. Where did you purchase your citrus zester & cute spatula? I've purchased 3 zesters & the zest gets stuck on it & I have to constantly stop,scrape & beat on it to try to get zest off.Help.
