Your Cat Could Live Twice As Long

- Your cat could live twice as long! As your cat ages the risk of kidney disease increases exponentially. This happens due to a genetically impaired AIM molecule which is responsible for signalling a cascade of autoimmune functions of the macrophages which clear the kidneys.
Studies are now on for treating the house cat with recombinant AIM( Apoptosis Inhibitor of macrophages). Thus far the it looks promising with trials ending in 2025. Elderly cats treated with recombinant AIM showed almost immediate recovery adding years to their life.
Besides potentially increasing your cats lifespan AIM will also be used in breakthrough treaments of obesity, human kidney and liver disorders and brain degenerative disorders, as told by Prof. Toru Miyazaki immunologist from the University of Japan.
Also note there is a cat food called AIM30 which is manufactured in Japan that claims to prevent kidney disorders in cats, however as per my knowledge it has nothing to do with Miyazaki's research.

Thank you for this. Iâm hoping Dr. Toruâs trials will be successful and that he can get his treatment into the hands of cat owners worldwide as soon as feasibly possible. This could change the veterinary and cat ownership worlds forever.
