Puma still has these in their line up and quite cheap. They are called ST runners. Andunes are actualy quite nice barefoot shoes. I personally do not use them for regular runs, just occasionally. I limit myself to 5k or 10k. But in India they are a lil bit overpriced for what they offer versus what the other Indian brand.

@@drrohanfonseca Thanks so much. Wonder if I should rather buy the minimalistic shoes. Recently I fractured my ankle wearing memory foam orthopedic slippers. I was so out of balance, I need something to feel like my own feet. I cannot adjust to heels at all.

I'd prefer you'd wear motion control shoes. These are generally used by over pronators. There is a link in the description to the exact Andunes i wear.

Running on hard surfaces like asphalt in barefoot shoes is an acquired taste. You will have to start slow to get used to them. I personally wouldn't choose the impaktos for a run. They are my go to for everyday wear or a gym training session.

@@drrohanfonseca okk.. They are 900 rs shoes so I was considering them as running shoes... I didn't know this. So can't we run on soft surfaces also with them ?

@@AR-82 you can make it work. But the lockdown on these are not enough. Impaktos have a new model on their website with better lockdown. Check that one out.

True about the Andunes.

Grip is excellent. Only be mindful as generally for dance you'd want lesser grip. If your flooring already has grip don't pick this. Otherwise they would be a good choice. They will not come off, if thats what your worried about. I have used them for a run also.

Avalaible over the counter in most pharmacies in India. In the organised world, it is going to need a prescription.

You will not go wrong with Power in this segment. Only issue is that they dont have a consistent model lineup, so it becomes very difficult to suggest a particular model. In addition they have different models in online and in their offline stores. I advise to to go to the bata showroom and try before you buy. Expect around 200km to 250km of use from the shoes.

The laces and a improved ankle support with cusion will be more comfortable at the expense of increased weight. The sole seems to the same.

I would recommend Barefoot rooted gym shoes since you can tighten the she near the heel as i found normal version to be bit loose near heel area.

I haven't tried the supernova. I like these over the Vomeros. I feel as a heavier person you'd love the feel of the max road for walking. Do try them before you buy though and factor in the price.

Because I have 11.5 2018 Nike frees and they are just a tad bit little long but they fit. Sounds like size 11 in these would be good ?? They only have these on the Nike website. These haven’t been in stores to try on since 2018/ 2019

I'd suggest a pair of skechers walking shoes. These barefoot shoes are an acquired taste. You could look to pick the cheaper Impakto as well. And wear them occasioanlly to try them. The last thing you'd want is painful feet(if you are currently not used to walking barefoot most of the time), once you get home.

How high is it? There are 2 factors to consider. One is the present inflammation. Inflammation will take some time to subside after the surgery. The other is if there is any damage to the liver already. Either ways if it is troubling you plz consult your doctor.

I was contemplating between andune and canyon sandals since they cost the same. But then you showed me impakto and saved my money. Would like to see that comparison.

I have flat foot/ fallen arch. So false instep doesn't seem good. Toe spring is annoying. I thought I found the budget edition but your comment makes me have second thoughts.

Yes you are right! It is not a true barefoot shoe, but good enough for some use case scenarios. I personally use it as an everyday shoe(rotate it with the andunes). But is also quite useful for a lifting session without breaking the bank. Pardon my ignorance but whats a false instep?

The impakto doesn't have arch support as such. It just has a spongy insole. There 2 schools of thought with flat feet. Provide as much support so that pain is minimized. I on the other am more inclined to using barefoot shoes for flat feet . When flat feet rest on the ground the toes tend to be end up a lot wider which barefoot shoes help accommodate. Also barefoot shoes will help develop those muscles in the foot and perhaps help you in the long term. Do try them out for a couple of months of casual use. In the first few days however you are bound to have a liottle discomfort.
