Wow! I had a smile on my face for the whole video and it is also the only video I have watched all the way through this year. Great camera work, love Murry Walker clips, so funny and great driving too. I am a flying man mostly but now I think I may give this a go. Aldershot only 30 mins from me. Will defo have to turn up to next meeting and see what it is like.

Years ago, I was pretty involved with 1:12th scale RC car racing. Good times! I always wanted to have an F1 class but the cars didn't lend themselves to that because the chassis were so crude in those days.

Brilliant! Does anyone use FPV for this kind of racing?
I'm getting together with Carl very soon and we'll see if we can retrofit a DJI Air Unit to our car. I want to do it because it's probably the only way I could drive the track accurately. I don't have the coordination to drive line of sight like Carl does. I would get confused which way to steer driving line of sight 😂 We'll share our thoughts soon Gryf.
@@EssentialRC Oh, good! I’ll be very interested to see the results. On a related note, I would much rather fly my quadcopters FPV than line of sight, as orientation then ceases to be a problem. I’d expect similar on the race track.
