I run the side tubes on low grip foam tires. I tried running the damper tube but it caused a few problems (like the one you mentioned) and saw no improvement in performance.

You can run foams at your track? Carpet or asphalt?

@telecomandorc On asphalt. In New Zealand, you can not run additive, yet tires are open. Foam tires have a lott more grip than the rubber one, and everyone runs them (I would consider it a very low grip situation).

@@Im_Bloody_Close_to_Being_a_God That's what we need here especially now in autumn since we run outdoor asphalt and it is getting cooler. But we cannot run foam tires.

Thanks for the info. Question what lighting system is that on your car?

I will have to try and see if I can find the info. I had it shipped from AU to the States a year ago. Let me see if I can find the info. It was an Ebay like site but I forgot the name. Maybe started with a T.

Did you ever figure out the diff oil weight? And side damper oil weight?

    • @telecomandorc

@@bstearn1653 This past weekend I ran 1000cst (80wt) in the diff. and 1K in the oil damper. The side oil damper works better with heavier oil I found out. It starts to spin out a lot once you go light. So, I just started making it heavier.

@@telecomandorc interesting. I’m at 2k in the diff and 350 in the damper. I’ll try raising it. For now I went back to the tubes with 30k to chase down a nasty push problem. I think I had my rear wing too high, too angled. It was running awesome before I changed that.

@@bstearn1653 Sorry, you did ask for droop. Not sure why I thought ride height. I will measure it tomorrow.
But, regarding the side damper, there is a shim on the left side you need to remove. I would have to look at the instructions and how I have it set up now. Here is what happens, the way the instructions have it with the shims, There is far more articulation one way that the other because the damper hits limiting it in one directions. Redo the shims and it will fix it.
