I really like how every character is good. It just depends on how you want to play.
I really wish Yuffie's damage didn't fall off so hard late game though. I agree that every character is super strong and fun to use(With the exception of Aerith for me. I just don't enjoy her playstyle at all).
Yuffie doesn't fall off lategame though. She carried me in the genji trials at level 50 and through 70% of the game.@@Amocoru
@@Amocoru Yeah every character is super strong and fun to use, though I did get mad twice using Aerith and both of them happened when I was attempting cactuar crusher on hard mode😂
@Amocoru I have played late game but I can't imagine yuffie not being broken. If you use the clone to use to cast 2 lv 3 magic spell to pressure into easy staggers for their weaknesses. I haven't even tested using the clone on aerith's arcane ward, which could be 4 casts for the price of one.
Edit: It works. Try to add magnify onto the materia to nuke enemies into oblivion.

Hard to believe there’s only 1 more part to this game. My only gripe with the game is previous game save doesn’t carry over other than that games awesome and truly a masterpiece

Yeah im very curious how they're gonna squeeze so much into the next one. With how much they've expanded so much on Remake and Rebirth, if they continue with that much expansion in the next game its gonna have to be even bigger than Rebirth already is.
@@candyhandsjf7288 the director has already said part 3 is mostly done already because the world is built in rebirth so it's just a case of copy paste and figuring out how to make it fit a zeppelin sized airship aka the highwind
@@majorasspain5341 that's good to know. I'm still interested to see how it'll be handled as far as the depth. Like will we be re-exploring the same exact previous regions as well as the new regions? Even if they just took out the exploration and regions entirely, the size of each of the linear story chapters will be huge if they're similarly done to Remake/Rebirth. There's just ALOT of story in discs 2 and 3 so to cram all of that into 1 Remake/Rebirth sized game AND expand on it like they've been doing seems like a monumental task.

Maybe you don’t need them but I don’t like using dragon claws because of the lack of material slots.
Guess they realized they had to find better balance when in part 1 every weapon could be upgraded to 6 connected materia slots
think you can make more materia slots anyway when you upgrade the weapons SP.

Every weapon will eventually get to the max of 6 materia slots. Unfortunately by the time you get the 6 materia slots for the dragon claws, you’re pretty much done with the game at that point.
Yuffie is crazy busted in this game thanks to the mimic.

Have you tried to combo her clone with an arcane ward? Both you and clone cast a spell twice. 4 lv 3 magic bombard the field. Imagine if you use magnify to spread 4 thundagas on mobs of enemies. Jesus. Arcane ward and doppelganger spell casting is great for bosses / tough enemies.
Yuffie is my favorite, all the crap she talks while whooping that ass is just hilarious
You picked like 3 weapons that have the lowest materia slots lol. I mean the slotted abilities are important but giving up 4+ materia slots is insane.
the only way to increase materia slots and weapon skill slots which are separate from meteria slots is leveling up the weapon
@@jwheels8895 my point is, the weapons he chose have the least amount of weapon materia slots. Most of the strongest builds revolve around maximizing materia combinations…
What doesn’t make sense is: Why all the collected weapons of Remake and Intergrade vanished in Rebirth…why, if you completed the game(s)?
Yeah it’s weird how games don’t let us transfer saved data to the sequels or even the trilogies. I understand some people wouldn’t want a super fast way or getting op fast, but for me? I like to immerse myself while playing RPGs, I like my character to be OP whether it’s at the start or later in the game. I don’t see a downside of transferring data and items.
Now I haven’t played the game yet so idk if their is a story reason why our stuff isn’t with us, but if people don’t want to use their data from the old game they could choose not too.

Imo, there should've at least been an option to transfer everything, and if not that, I feel like they should've at least let us keep all of our Weapons, but revert them back to level one, and have us unlearn the Abilities, and then give all the new Weapons, entirely new abilities (especially seeing as most of the new abilities are amazing, especially Firebolt Blade, Prime Mode, and Aerial Onslaught).
This is a Square issue by dividing the game into 3 parts. Its also a way to recycle abilities and animations for faster development. Honestly the game should of been a full game not seperated into 3 parts.

Red has a weirdly huge variety in his builds because of vengeance. Being able to heal or give atb from your vengeance gauge or activating it to grant haste and hp stealing. I feel like they made him too powerful if that makes sense
Both Tifa and Red are honestly too damn good, if you want a nutty team just run Cloud-Tifa-Red.
Plus Haste. He has one that gives your party haste. He's just a good member overall and with Provoke against a stronger tanky enemy he becomes nuts.
Even the original game I always felt like there's a lot you can do with Red, he feels really versatile
In Remake, Barret was absolutely broken for a bit with a high strength melee weapon plus an HP absorption sphere in a linked slot with deadly dodge.he did get nerfed though.
I like that i can atleast see my old weapons in Johnny’s hotel but i wish we could have kept them and got all brand new weapon abilities in rebirth.
The Radiant Ward!! REALLY IMPORTANT THAT (I think its just Aerith) Radiant ward makes you invincible whilst casting :p

I think it really sucks how cool slipstream sabler looks to just be invalidated by better options. At least dynamic lets you use what you want for weapon choices.

i love this game i love the story i love the combat phenomenal voice acting i think im suffering from mini game burn out the only minigame that is the exception to this is queens blood i have cerebral palsy it is a neurological disorder that i was born with due to lack of oxygen to my brain. i said that to say this i have slowed reaction time which is why i hate the fact that some weapons are gated behind minigames i dont mind doing sidequests or stealing them from a boss as long as the fight is repeatable the thing with minigames is after you repeat 30 times they just become an exercise in frustration at that point they are no longer fun; your just trying to ger what you need or progress and you just want it to end i also have little to no depth perception and tunnel vision but i enjoyed the hell out of the costa del sol shooting min game with moving targets even though my score was horrible i enjoyed gongaga the one and only thing that is absolutely unnecessary is the mushroom picking minigame in synapsis too many minigames actually ruin the experience of the game and pacing not everything needs to be minigame lastly the moogle min game becomes an exercise in frustration for me personally in the later stages i wish i could skip it but i cant because its necessary for regional data points and skill books which give you necessary sp the 3d brawler is cool but it feels horrible to play because its so slow it feels like a fighting game at 20fps even with the latest controller software update i dont know if their is a bug in the game thats making it slow or if the developers inteded it this way.
Just hope they really cook with the Ultima blade in part 3. Hope they go really crazy with the design and its abilities lmao.

Beat the game and get the XP u materia. You get way more xp after beating the game. Just retry the first soldier group in Chapter 13 max level in 40-50 minutes

For me, buster sword is always on cloud. All other swords on clouds back is looks strange.
Seeing 2 buster swords tog with zack feels weird to me, decided to see this cloud from advent children where he is not using buster sword anymore

I think Tifa's Kaiser knuckles are far superior to dragon claws. Not only do you gain a +17 attack stat and only 3 less magic attack, but but it has 5 msteria slots, 2 linked where as dragon fists only have 3 slots with 1 linked.
Quite disapointed in lack of weopons in this game

I’m like… 99% sure you CAN’T miss the dragon claws. You can literally chapter select and go back and retain anything you got and towards the end you can fast travel anywhere anyways.

use syn ability with limit upgrade so u can use higher tier limit break

I know everyone has their own opinions but I honestly think clouds best weapon is sleek saber the amount of atb you generate with the speed demon keychain you get from chapter 4 for keep the guards alive is unmatched
Yeah, I feel the exact same. As I played through the game I'd learn the abilities of whatever new Weapon I got on Cloud, and then immediately swap back to the Sleek Saber. By Midgame, the thing can already get a 20% ATB Recharge Boost, and it's frankly insane, especially when combined with Haste.
Additionally, Spamming ATB Attacks helps fill the Synergy Gauge insanely quick.
Like, raw stats and skills like Reprieve are great, but the Sleek Saber has perfectly fine stats, and the ATB Recharge Rate is just unreal.

Runeblade with genji gloves turns cloud into a magic nuking monster. Also Igneous saber infinity's end hits for some pretty great numbers as well. Atb generation is alright but that won't carry you through hard mode especially since the best ATB generators in teh game are yuffie and barret. Speed demon keychain is better on one of these 2 imo.
Wait i'm new to the game, how is that of that you can equip another weapon's ability?
Once you have used the move various times it’s proficiency will max out and then you can use it with any weapon

I’m not a fan of the weapon abilities in this game being limited like they are remake was much better in that department I can’t for the life of me pick between clouds weapons because some of the best perks are on a relatively weak weapon then other weapons have better attack stats but crappy abilities it was much better when they had their own skill tree to unlock after playing hard mode granting more perks that you can have
You can just buy them all… not to mention all of them are literally staring right in front of you glowing purple. If someone missed even one of them id be kinda shocked
TLDR there aren't really any BEST weapons for characters, they are all situational. Pick which one you like best because they all work....got it.

I disagree with Point Blank not being that good. I think it's very useful to pile on damage against a staggered high HP enemy. Packs a wallop.

It’ll make you insanely powerful and broke the game, also many if the skillset are also reset in order.
Then it’s their fault for dividing it into 3 games rather than 1 full game…
It’s economics. To recreate FF7 as a new experience like we’re experiencing right now would take 10-20 years and development. And it would be a hell of a gamble, if it succeed, great! If it fails, how many years and money wasted? I know they intentionally make Remake to end in Midgar because they wanted to see if the remake project is viable technically and economically.
No company in the world are willing to invest the time and effort to make a long ass and content rich game especially a remake of a much beloved title which will be heavily scrutinized by its fanbase if they fail to deliver.
The risk and reward ratio is astronomically unsustainable.
Even so here we being the spoiled bunch, thinking like making game is just a flick of a finger from a genie.
FF7 rebirth is not perfect, and many aspects of it are valid to criticize (like too much minigames, some of it are impossibly tedious), but I objectively think to critize the dividing into parts, changes in last chapters of each game, the unavailability of data transfer mechanics, are quite irrelevant to critize not due to the lack creativity or ingenuity of the devs but is just purely economics.
Fun Fact: Red’s attack isn’t called Supernatural Fervor, it’s called Supernal Fervor. Everyone is saying it wrong and I think it’s the funniest thing because I was also calling it Supernatural Fervor for the longest time 😂

I more so just want to see the highest stat weapons, the buffs are subjective. Youre using your own justifications for a pretty simple question. Maybe its just to get a longer video to monetize or something, but i didnt finish the video specifically because i didnt ask which weapons you like most.
