    Great video, just ordered this exact same system for my 17 carrera. Glad to know interior noise is increased, what is your opinion on the drone added by this system? Is it non existent or very minimal?

    Thank you for taking the time and effort to share your experience. You said you don't have the PSE option but you had 2 vacuum controlled valves that you plugged the hoses for. What were those valves for, if not PSE?

      Carrera S non PSE does have valves : open and close depending on mode : normal = close, sport or sport + = open

    Tried to do it on the weekend. Impossible to do. The heat shield bolt on top is almost impossible to even identify. Besides that, the cat bolts did not even move. Ended up aborting this. Looking for a shop to do this.

    How is the interior experience now? Any drone or noticeable noise intrusion?

    Dude. Your garage is epic. I couldn't find a crumb or dust particle anywhere. The sled had no grease or grime. Video awesome. I thought i was anal, you're tip top braddah.

      Don’t know off hand. Call SOUL directly. Great guys and they have excellent customer service. I’m still loving the exhaust.

  • @flydog431
    @flydog431 Před 4 lety +1

    Does the popping sound change depending on whether you're in Sport, Sport Plus, etc? Did you take DB readings from outside during drive bys?

      Yes, Sport mode only. Normal and Sport+ do not pop

    Nice install video! I’ve got the 991.1 Soul Performance Valved Exhaust on mine. Link: czcams.com/video/BQbGUCho9-Q/video.html
    I didn’t do the cats but that HP gain is making me wonder, hmmm, now you’ve given me some ideas that the wife isn’t going to like! Lol
    Do you think I’d have to remove the X pipe to swap the cats out? I don’t want to move the X pipe since I’ve got all the vacuum lines attached and zip tied nicely in place.

      I think you’d have to loosen it up some to get them in there. Redoing the zip ties would be the easiest part of the job though. I wouldn’t let that stop you.
