I spent a while compiling old forum posts and CZcams videos about classes to decide what I wanted to play, made quite the impressive collection of old data including pre-bis lists and optimal gearing routes.
Then my GM messaged me and said I was playing Resto Shaman.
Doesn't sound to fun if your GM decides your class. But theres little context here so i'm not judging to much.
Playing what you find most fun > whats most optimal everytime.
Did your GM also tell you what pronouns you are going to use now?

On horde side, what would u pick as DK? ive watched alot saying Orc and Troll, but i think Bloodelf is a good option aswell? Because of the arcane torrent giving more runic
Nah troll and orc will SIM higher
the snapshotting from orc and troll racial just pump, but blood elf is fun in pvp with the aoe silence

I played fire mage when Cata was live back then for Dragon Soul. Burn them all my friend, its a fun spec.

Dual spec it. Don't let the enhance dream die.
For a lot of gear your only competition will be hunters so it should not be to bad keeping it going.
I've heard they are only mid tier in phase 1 but will have to wait for Sims.
@@MetaGoblin do keep in mind that LB weaving is a thing, and its a good 1k + dps gain in t11. This doesnt seem to be a thing on Private servers/ back in retail. So it could be a little better in classic

@@Stonemojo1 A.) play what you like /enjoy. B.) Enh is one of the strongest leveling specs in the game so if you're having fun then stick with it.

Same servers, same gdkp and parsing challenges and nothing like original cataclysm.

Have No Idea about cata. Wasnt ecpecting that inplay IT.. but now many Friends try IT. Now im Not Sure to try blood DK or my Warrior. Never Played blood DK.. IS IT hard?^^
I usually always play hunter but the focus change is not mine. Now I don’t know what to play. I was thinking fire mage but we already have one so that’s out. Now I’m at a loss. Fuck focus.

You shoud pick a class that is fun to play primarily. I loved playing ret in wotlk but I think i might stop playing in cata. I don't like playing any melee dps in this expac :(
Played rogue in tbc. Never got into any raids except kara. Had to reroll all up to get into some other raids

they have the best comps, but hpal is actually the best heals for PVP

Resto shaman so bad that it doesnt even get a tier rating.
They’re actually S tier some of the best mana management, bloodlust, huge aoe heals, and the strongest healer defensive cd - spirit link totem

@@RealCecilion Disc isn't even that strong in cata. Holy pala is best tank healer while druid is the best aoe healer. Shaman is the only healer that is "best" at doing both when needed. If anything priest (holy and disc) were both bottom tier.
Fire magex2. Affli lock. Prot pala. Combat rouge. S-priest. Fury warr. Unholy dk. Bring on cata. All horde ally can sugma

fuck Blizzard to never release something in time, Cata should be out months ago and working good and Prepatch should be atleast 1+ month.
I think Cata/MoP will be a good middle ground, have played all the Classic versions to Death and Retail isn't WoW anymore.
@@deenman23 Retail is difficult? Also, I don't think anyone above 20 IQ doesn't like retail. It's by far the most polished expansion, even tho still not perfect. The only issue it has are the "improvements" the filthy casuals were crying for years. Cross-faction and cross-server.

@@MetaGoblin You could ask artists for permission, or use official art. I understand not wanting to put in the effort and likely rejection of requests, and wanting something more unique than official stuff. But, as an artist, I think it'd be more worthwhile than using AI art.

Looks like every content creator is using the same AI since literally every video about cata is the same on every channel. Everyone is literally covering the very same topics and giving exactly the same anwers lol...
or it’s just a heavily researched topic and everything is pretty much set in stone in terms of information. people have been playing this expansion for 14 years buddy we already know everything about it

To be real we have to cover these heavily farmed topics to keep the bills paid. I would love to cover more niche topics and make more original videos but they just don't get views because the CZcams algorithm was designed by a fruit cake.

Cataclysm is one of the best expansions if not even the best.
I remembered TBC to be not good (just as it was) and WotLK being better but still not that good. The classic versions of it confirmed my memory by 100%. Let's see if I am also right with Cata here.

@@shoop9274 WotLK was only fun because of ICC. But that's about it. That's all that WotLK had to offer. Besides that Cataclysm is literally superior in every single aspect, especially dungeons, PvP and gameplay in general.
Heck.. just the hunter rework alone catapults the expansion in another dimension of quality.
