About this channel: We are the Smith's. A Christian family of 6, living in the country just outside of Georgetown, Texas. Granger, an author and former country music singer, Amber, an actor and stay at home mom, and their children: London, Lincoln, River (who we lost when he was 3yrs old) and Maverick.
I like having Paul doing the filming. He thinks of questions to ask that people in the family don't think of asking.
My comments on my phone are acting up, so I'm having to use our tablet. I love the new intro. Y'all are a blessing to watch.
When you go jet skiing please, please, please dress your kids and yourselves in neoprene shorts. To not wear them is an accident waiting to happen. My niece almost died because she didn't wear them. The water rushed up inside her body and ripped her colon.

Having an intro again feels like home. Thanks for bringing it back. Loved having Paul's presence in the video. This is a great new approach. Can't wait for Amber's book. I know it's going to be great (tragedy and triumph in all the right ways). Great video!
Love the new opening, and when the cop was beside Amber while she and Paul were driving and filming, I had the same thought as Paul.

Even though they were heartbreaking, I really miss Amber's closet confessions. Showing the world that grief is difficult, raw, & real helps take the stigma of showing emotions away. I can't wait to read Amber's book! What a gift Amber gave Maverick by putting him in ISR classes, he loves the water.

Yes! on the intro. I loved what Amber said in writing her book she wants it to reach as many people as possible.Just this past weekend AGAIN I found myself talking to someone about The Smiths and in particular in Grangers grief, instead of trying to be THE ROCK for his family he could be AN OAK. This has really resonated with two different times, fathers, are being swallowed by their grief and feeling not strong enough for their family. You can be an oak with some bend and sway. Also your LIVING example of River still being talked about and included in your families life today is also awesome and healthy and so loving!

Maverick is so smart. He speaks way above his age and when asked a question he really stops and thinks about it. Can’t wait for Ambers book release going to be a good read. God bless you all and great filming. I really like the new way ❤
