kristen knew EXACTLY what she was doing. she knew exactly how to pull him in and leave a bit of her in the back of his head. he even says that she was lingering in his mind after he chooses her. the little finger rubs she did right in the beginning was a perfect, subtle, and really well thought out touch to secure her position in first place.

no cody, it’s not like an orgasm. That would imply a build up to some sort of climax. Not like that at all. My best comparison is when someone runs their hands through your hair, you feel comforted and relaxed. The “tingles” aren’t even comparable to any sexual feelings, it’s all sensory like when you hear your favorite part of a song that gives you chills and you can’t explain why.

You know for this being an unbelievably weird concept for a dating show, it wasn’t horrible. Part of it is Cody but also I think the people in this were all really sweet.
Kinda dig the Kristen chick. Super cute and grocery shopping for stuff to cook is actually a pretty clever idea. Still get the traditional cooking sorta date but have space for individual contributions and talking about low stakes stuff that’s still meaningful.

Apparently not every person gets the asmr tingles. The best way I can describe it is a shiver at the back of the head, neck, or sometimes down the spine, but in the best possible way. Its like the positive/good version of that.
How strong it is depends on the asmr trigger or the person (sometimes it can be intense lol).
For me, it helps my brain or like body relax and know that it time to slow down or just breathe until i knock out or feel more at ease.

it’s so overstimulating to me because you can hear each and every little movement in their mouth and the words against their teeth. genuinely the only time i enjoyed asmr was the first girl, actually. also usually when you’re whispering, it’s because you’re supposed to be quiet for a really important reason, so in the back of my brain, i may just think something is wrong LMAO. the sounds of things is relaxing, but whispering isn’t at all. like the soap and fidgeting with stuff is stimulating, but not when someone is whispering 1 inch away from a microphone.

Ffs it's not "misophobia" or "anger issues"... just because someone doesn't have your weird kink doesn't mean there's something wrong with them. The sound of people eating doesn't bother me at all, and I'm an otherwise calm person, but ASMR also makes me extremely uncomfortable and stressed. It feels incredibly synthetic and unnatural to me and it literally activates my brain's defense mechanism 😂

I also have it, as well as experiencing asmr. There are a lot of asmr "triggers" and only some are enjoyable to me. Some sounds make me feel ragey (chewing, wet mouth sounds), and others make me feel brain tingles (tapping, crinkling). There are a lot of different types out there, there might be something you like!

I think there is a category for asmr for everyone, a lot of people dont realize asmr is not whispering or mouth sounds only. I HATE whispering or mouth sounds, but I find noises like getting a hair cut, hair brushing, makeup applying, typing on a computer, etc. to be very relaxing. I would always fall asleep in school hearing people type on a computer or at the salon when I've gotten my hair cut, and I never understood why it was so relaxing until I found out about ASMR. My ADHD keeps me up at night so ASMR videos are the only way I can fall asleep sometimes.

A lot of people think ASMR always involves people talking and are therefore disgusted by it. Also someone whispering directly into your ear can be creepy. Just look for videos that are marked with NO TALKING. Whatever sound you like, someone has made a video of it. Super useful for drowning out background noise and the voice of nagging anxiety inside your own mind!

I never really watch ASMR but I get the effect. getting my eyelashes done is the best bomb tings ever. all the tiny delicate touches around the eyes and little sounds near my ears give be chills and relax me. it’s the same feeling as someone playing with your hair. it just feels good.

A.S.M.R- (Auditory, Sensory Meridian Response what A.S.M.R means) which is how your brain responses to visual or auditory stimuli, it gives you goosebumps, a tingling feeling in your scalp, on your arms but it doesn't work for everyone, it depends on the type of A.S.M.R
I love A.S.M.R. it's really relaxing, it helps me with stress, insomnia, etc..
