Lots of great game plans out there, Traffic Light, 180 Method, 3 Goals Method to name a few.
Knowing the RAG zones is a good and simple method. I use it mostly around greens.

I am trying to score under 90.... but something always happens. 🙂 Here is a round stats I played the other day:
1 x birdie
4 x pars
6 x bogeys
4 x double bogeys
2 x triple bogeys
1 x quad bogey
That gave me a 95 with 37 stableford points. Very frustrating to blow a hole because I went for the green and landed in the bunker.
Im going to try your safer/stress free option next time I play. Thanks for the video.
You can defo break 90 Tom.
Just turn those triples and quads into bogeys or doubles.
Have a look at those high scores and determine what lead to them.
Was it just bad shots or were you hitting into trouble that led to bigger numbers.
Play the percentages at all times.

Just how i play that hole Craig. No value in hitting driver on that hole to me at all.
My mates hit driver which bring fiddly shots into play, the railway and gonga left, gonga right...I'd like to shake them stood on that tee box at times 🙄

Yeah unless you pin Driver right down the middle your probably going to end up in trouble, just not the right play

3:48 first time i have heard anyone on internet say hit it short of green on approach. A big tick, on lots of holes it not only the safe play its the smart play.
Yes a lot of times when the pin is on the front players still pick a club for the middle of the green that can bring hazards like greenside bunkers into play.

Hi, would strokes gained on the first hole you played the 11th not be worth going with the driver?
Stats now usually reward the aggressive approach to holes.
Brings a lot of extra trouble into play and I'm as good from 115y as I am from 90y.
No real benefit for me
