Nice!! I think you will love this book - appreciate the support
Excellent. 100% agreed.
Thanks, much appreciated!
All great tips, but #7 was best. Of course, accept the shot 'says easy, but does hard'. More suggestions on forgetting bad shots/holes?
Awesome I appreciate it! Definitely easier said than done… I like to have some of post shot routine. For example when I unvelcro my glove or take it off to putt I make that the bookend of the shot. And I like to think that I got my bad stuff out of the way so now the good scores/holes are gonna happen soon
Part of my course management is to hit 3 wood off the tee in many cases. I'm very confident with this club and can often reach the fat part of the fairway more consistently with this club. If it's a really long par 4 or there's a lot of room in the fairway then I hit driver.
Nice, thanks for watching! Keep hitting it well
First and foremost, know your distances. Second, have a better than average 120 and in game. Third, have a repeatable putting stroke, and know how to read a green, slope/grain/uphill/downhill. Last, but not least, have a pre shot routine for every shot and stick to it on every shot. Not a routine that goes through the motions either, one that is a rehearsal for what you are about to execute. The kicker is if you don't have the time or inclination to practice these basic steps, don't sweat the results.

When you out of reach from the green break it into 2 shots with the latter being what you would prefer hitting into the green.
Depends - it's usually best to get as close to the green as possible to give yourself the best opportunity to make birdie (assuming it's a par 5)
What's the best course management tip you've ever received? Let me know in the comments below 👇👇👇
If you're in the trees, don't try to be a hero. Just punch it out on the fairway with your 4 or 5 iron. Only use the sandwedge for the sand or hitting over something. You will have much better control with a lower lofted club, like a gap,
pinching, 9 or 8. Hit it lower let it roll Without worrying about chunking it.
@@jmm1817 great tip there, I talk about "hero golf" in a lot of my content. Great stuff, appreciate you watching. What's your biggest golf goal for 2023?
@Wicked Smart Golf Oh, really, you talk about the hero golf, Lol. I'll have to check it out. 2023 goal, shoot consistently in the 80s. You?
@@jmm1817 great goal! Not sure if you saw this video yet but a lot of the tips will help breaking 90 and 80 czcams.com/video/CgFPWZEMFU0/video.html
@@jmm1817 and my biggest goal is to become the #1 ranked Arizona amateur - was about 23rd this year.
Tip 8 stop trying to make birdies or pars.
Play personal par and bogeys are good scores.
Yeah that's solid - golf is more about avoiding bogeys than making more birdies. Thanks for watching
play your game not the game your playing partners are playing
