Stuff like this highlights the fact that prohibition often endangers more people than it protects. Weed is not very dangerous, but when you make it illegal, all you really do is make it unregulated, and prevent ethical growers from being able to operate effectively. People may start off with decent intentions, but when their competition is with dealers who sell spiked weed it’s hard to get a client base, especially when that base has a high tolerance as a result of their spike consumption. Legalization = Regulation = Public safety. It’s really that simple.

At this point growing your own is becoming the only option. Even in the US there's issues with legal sources being too expensive and questions about contamination with chemicals and additives.

Ya this is bs . Most weed is not sprayed, the whole documentary seems very fake . There is a fake cannabis known as spice or k2 that was popular and it caused seizures. Iv heard of fake terpins or flavors being added to concentrates but they are not a drug themselves at all they ate just tastes . I started dealing at 14, now at 21 I can truly relate to what he's saying, you eventually touch real money and realize its all a facade, and you learn it quick. its crazy how much you give up for that life style, I relate to everything he said in the end. time flies when youre dealing, the last seven years ive experienced so much but I wasted basically my entire youth doing this, fourteen year old boys used to want to be pilots or footballers, now they all want to drive a Mercedes, fat bundles of cash, kilos in the trunk and a couple of girls alongside. in principle I live the life that is for young people the mainstream ideal, I'm doing well, I have the perfect life, a lot of money, parties, fast cars, but money isn't everything. I couldn't later sit in my folks home, look in the mirror and say, yes I lived my life properly.

I'm convinced the underground American weed market is the same. Before legalization in Michigan some times my highs were a little scary and sometimes they were great. After legalization I've never really had a bad high.
If weed were completely legal and regulated then contamination wouldn't be an issue.

That is very scary. I remember people always used to claim that some weed was cut with small amounts of heroin, which I always thought made sense, since there was that risk of the person becoming addicted, ensuring they became a rewritten customer.
Respectfully, I don't think that makes any sense at all. Dealing weed is pretty white collar, and people who smoke weed are unlikely to quit anyway. Adding heroin to marijuana makes it much more illegal, and who wants to change their customers from harmless stoners into hardcore addicts? Addicts are much more likely to rob the dealer.
Not to mention dosages - if the dose of heroin was too small, it wouldn't do anything, and if it was too large, it would kill the customer.
Also, the amount of heroin needed to give someone a heroin high from smoking it is cost-prohibitive.
This sounds like Reefer Madness propaganda to me.

Synthetic cannabinoids, other than the first generation of like jwh-018, hit SUPER hard. Even after just a few times smoking the synthetic, you'll find that regular weed won't do a thing to you, and for a while too. Some of these synthetic cannabinoids are 100s of times stronger than thc and after a couple generations they became a lot closer to these strange synthetic opioid type of chemicals. It's a serious thing and it will make you lose your damn mind.

As someone who use to be in the game it has changed a lot since I got out. Since regulation the price has dropped dramatically and a lot of my fellow hustlers left the business and now just grow for themselves. I am so thankful as a Canadian I have never run into fake cannabinoids or tainted product for the most part. Sure back in the day you might have gotten a dime bag that was sprayed with windex or dunked in water to increase weight. But that was usually your nickle and dime dealer selling to someone who didn't know what they were doing. The kid has a good head on his shoulders so I hope he found a new game. Here's to hoping that the German's can properly regulate and get tainted weed out of the market.

false. weeds legal here in california and it actually made it worse and a higher chance of weed being sprayed with bad chems. Testing is totally flawed and increase in taxes made it so the customers have to pay more, dispensaries charge more, and purchase from growers cheaper. So growers are have to use cheaper methods since theyre competing to sell at the cheapest price to dispensaries. Of course there will always be badly produced weed but it was safer when it wasn't regulated. Both here and in oregon.

100 percent accurate. Here in sweden most if not all weed is laced with glassfiber to make it look like crystals. And much albanian marijuana sprayed with chemicals.Or just weak weed laced with glassfiber and chemicals to make it look better than it is.And to kick in like its some super-potent weed. I always used to wonder when i was smoking what the f**k happend to the weed the past 3-4 years. I got too high every time. Not like legal marijuana/not laced marijuana. I can handle getting too high. But this is something else.Always got a really bad high and had trouble breathing. And felt a much stronger physical addiction.Even though every high was pure torture, i had this strong urge.And i worry that most daily smokers in scandinavia and the rest of the world have no idea what they are smoking. Or the effects these chemicals have on your body and lungs. And turning casual every now and then smokers into real addicts. And they dont even know it.
Yes, I have suspected this as well. Stopped tolerating weed about 5-7 years ago. I used to be fine smoking but cant anymore only get paranoid and Kind of psychosis. Now I am completely sober but sometimes miss the weed of "my youth", the not so overly strong. Where you actually smoked and chilled out and had munchies and a good time. I also live in Sweden. Sometimes I have asked people I met that smoked in the forest if they dont know where to get WEAK weed (meaning, natural with low thc levels) but no one never seemed to know. So, still sober! Probably for the better!

As a senior, I grow my own here in the PNW and have done so since it became legal. I also grow many other herbs for making my own medicines and never take pharmaceuticals and haven't been to an allopathic doctor in 25 years. Cannabis is, in my opinion, a wonderful medicine for seniors and growing your own is the sure-fired way to avoid tainted weed. I would suggest to folks who want to have good quality weed is to grow your own even where it may be illegal for the sake of your health and wellbeing.

This weed here in the U.S. is not the same from the 90s. I see people smoking blunts 5 to 6 times a day. Probably the same contaminated weed is flowing here. And literally everyone smokes it.

Weed shouldn't be legalized, as it is a harmful substance and there really is no point in adding another one of this to the open market. Alcohol generates enough problems with its lax regulations in most of European countries.

The war on drugs failed miserable and all drugs should be legalized or at least decriminalized.
The prohibition doesn't work, more people then ever are consuming illegal drugs like cannabis. With a legalization the number of users wouldn't rise, as we already saw in Canada or Colorado. A legalization would help all consumers get clean substances, it would guarantee protection for minors, the country could make billions of dollars and erase the black market.
The police could invest their time and money in way more important things and innocent consumers wouldn't be seen as criminals.
Those who have a problematic relationship with the substance could get more help, as it becomes more socially accepted and with the tax money from selling the weed and not wasting billions of dollars on the failing war on drugs, more medical treatment and way better enlightenment would be made possible.
There are countless arguments for a legalization, I cannot list them all but please inform yourself before you're putting such b*llshit in the internet.
@@justanordinaryaccount9910 a very poor take on cannabis as a whole. It’s fantastic when grown correctly with the right ratios of thc and cbd. The reason there are problems from weed is due to it being unregulated. Also compared to alcohol and tobacco at least it can be good for reducing pain, seizures etc where as there is no benefit to cigs or booze other than short term enjoyment.
There was a spice ”epidemic” in sweden a couple of years ago. Ppl, specially young, were hospitalized on the regular, some even died. I think ppl have realized the dangers of spice now, it’s not as common

@@KrolKaz Not really if they do it properly. Someone just tried to cut it with something they thought is fine but it wasn't. And it is different kind of "vaping". IQ2 is vaporizer which is pretty much just heating the regular weed but not burning it(similar like IQOS vs cigarette). What killed those people was making THC liquids or oils for vape pens. And it wasn't vaping THC liquids but other chemicals they used to make it.

When you get hooked on synthetic cannabinoids dont think you can just go back to normal real pot. When hooked normal pot won't do anything for you, barely makes your eyes red, no high what so ever. They only thing that will curb the withdrawals is either more synthetic cannabinoids or a good amount of time staying sober. Getting hooked to synthetic cannabinoids is horrible. You will not sleep unless you take a puff. You will fall sleep for about 20-30min and wake up needing another puff. Your stomach hurts so bad, you won't eat unless you have the synthetics, when you don't have it you have bad head aches and dry heave constantly to the point you will drink water just to be able to throw up something instead of constant dry heaves. Don't get me wrong.... Stay clean and stay away from Synthetics for a year and you should be back to normal if the synthetics haven't destroyed your body and mind. I'm in the USA, back in 2006ish it became popular for people on supervised probation because they didn't have test yet to determine if you ingested synthetics. After about one week of smoking g that stuff I was hooked. They only reason I got off was because after a few years of this stuff in gas stations shelfs became illegal and you couldn't find it in stores. Then people started selling it on the street and it just worse and worse the more they changed the chemicals to skirt the laws. This stuff is just as addictive as any opioid including fentynal. If they didn't outlaw this crap I would dead or in a nursing home with brain damage. Please stay safe. Buy weed from dispensaries if you can or grow your own. But after watching this video it looks like it's hard totekl the difference between fake weed and real weed. Fake weed doesn't smell like real weed, it has a chemical smell not like that pungent skunk smell real weed has. If real weed is sprayed with synthetics then then real weed smell with cover up the synthetic chemical smell and flavor. Please stay safe everyone.
