    Does adding the spacer give the entire coilover assy less range of motion or make it substantially more firm?

      I would say they do put extra load on your cv shafts as they increase the angles, yes.

    Just a thought...I would NEVER put my hands where you do with a spring under such tension. I'm a guy who can count on his fingers up to nine.

    How many inch tall is that spacer normally for a two and a half inch lift they are only 1 in tall that looks like about a 2-in spacer and height
