I'm praying that our endless money pit Dodge Avenger will at least make it to 150k miles. 🙏🏽 God is a miracle worker! But you know what I have learned about cars in general? They are all endless money pits when you are driving on the road with a bunch of uninsured, bad drivers with no routine maintenance being done to their cars!
All of my "good cars" have been involved in car accidents that were not my fault and the drivers are ALWAYS uninsured. A girl crashed into my car earlier this week, didn't have insurance and she admitted her brakes had been failing for awhile, but she just been putting off getting them fixed.
Surprisingly, that little raggedy Dodge Avenger we have seems to avoid car accidents that would cause my insurance to total the car out, so I can rid myself of this liability once and for all.. 😩

I sold it a few months ago and watched it drive away with 385,000 miles on it..it had a 5.9 gas engine , and I drove it from Florida to Utah, Arizona , Nevada and back to Florida then to Texas and all I ever had to do was replace the water pump once and also replace the radiator . Everything else worked fine., I drove that truck for 20 years . And looked as good the day I sold it as it did when I bought it, with the exception of the crumbling dash board . And I pull a 6x12 cargo trailer with it many times fully loaded from my auction buys. And I still see it around town driving and looking good.,

The old 318 was not far behind in the 300k race. When Crysler stopped making those 2 engines, it was all over for them as far as engine reliability.
