'Another lot in there with her is there?' this series is just full of comedic gems its immortal
The major is my favourite character
I absolutely love Roger. Just sees the ridiculousness of it all and goes with it.
I always felt like he should have had his own spin if show.. He was hysterical
Roger is a brilliant character. Best ever combover on tv as well
Basil had met his sarcastic match
Funny story about him the original choice was ill on that day so this guy stood in for a temporary few takes and john Cleese and Connie booth loved him so much they decided to cast him instead in the end. As I understand it.
@@jonalcott606 I'd heard that somewhere as well. The bloke who played Roger nailed it perfectly so glad it wasn't played by anyone else
Rog was great, sort of bloke you could go for a pint with and have a good laugh.

That spin Basil gave the major felt personal.
Have you got a choc-ice? 😂
"You read a lot of Oscar Wilde do you, Rog?"
One of there rare occasions he owns Rodger lol
We all know "Roger sort of guy"
The same actor plays Mr Johnson in in sickness an in health
Ken Campbell's character was brilliant.
Yep, he had Fawlty nailed from the off.
With friends like Roger, who needs enemies?
Roger,’this is fun’ priceless super actor.
The best😁😁👏👏👏👏
"You'll never waitress in Torquay again!"
Basil Fawlty is pure pleasure
Roger: did she stamp it?😂😂😂
Basil has GOT to be a leo.
The Anniversary

Why do the stairs go up and down like that? I've always wondered why it's that way....
Without any offence the people in the British Islands don't know how to build houses. I'm from the continent and worked there in the building industry. They don't really know how to build houses so they make these interesting, fun to look at things like that stairs you talking about. There is probably something below those stairs what need the extra space (probably an other stair what goes down) this is why it is looks like this.
In my country our houses are logical therefore a little bit boring. Sometimes when the house was built before the central heating or the electricity they modernize it, or they they build extra rooms or extra level to the house and these changes makes the house much more fun to look at or living in. So if I would have to guess I would say the british doesn't think through what they really want before they start to design the house and they end up solutions like that stairs you see.
BTW it is not just the houses, many other thing on the Islands are illogical and ridiculously designed.
@@Zodroo_Tint What are you going on about? We created half of the inventions used in the world today, no joke, some good some bad, what country are you from? I cant bet you guys from the continent have created some real sh*t over the years.
