Another take on blueberries, lemon and mint from Jacques Pépin transforms the fruit into a simple and refreshing dessert.
    Ingredients:
    ¼ cup sugar
    2 tablespoons mint chiffonade
    1½ teaspoons lemon zest
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
    12 ounces blueberries
    Crème fraîche, for serving
    Mint sprigs, for garnish
    Cake or cookies, for serving
    Method:
In a medium bowl, stir together the sugar, mint, lemon zest and lemon juice until the sugar dissolves. Add the blueberries and stir until they are coated. To serve, spoon the blueberries into a dish and top with a dollop of crème fraîche and a sprig of mint. Add a piece of cake or cookies on the side.

I've never seen Chef Pepin cook a dessert.
It's always a type of fresh fruit with pound cake or fruit with a sauce.
    Interesting

Bonjour Chef. I am interested to know what you feel the top safety challenges are for the home chef. I suspect the list of potential disasters starts with "don't use dull knives" but would wonder what else you would add.
