- The Duskmourn Chronicles is an actual D&D TTRPG play featuring me as the Game Master, and some wonderful players running through a custom campaign in my own homebrewed world.
This is episode the PCs must save their own skins as heads are exploding...

Awesome to watch. Keep them coming! Also I would really like hearing from you Guy how things went compared to what you had prepared.
"Don't come here, it's a head-exploding place!!!" I LOVE IT!! Carry on, I'm cheering for you all!
I'm invested... the party has such a great energy.
-"The acolyte will show you to the back passage"
-"Beg your pardon?"
That was gold :)
It started a bit slow...but now it's very exciting. The characters are well done. By characters i am referring to the NPC's as well as the player characters. I am enjoying this. Thank you all for a the great entertainment! Bravo 👏 I trust your having a blast as well. 🎉
Something you might already know, but just in case you don't... Your overhead (over map) camera has distinctly different color properties from the camera facing you, Guy. Face-on, your shirt is a pale blue gray. Top down--when you reach onto the table--you shirt is a distinctly darker blue. Cool magic, that. I presume you are inside a bubble of protection of some sort that (as a minor side effect) mutes your colors, and that when you reach onto the map your arm leaves the protective zone (either that or you are interacting from another plain?). You might want to be careful about exposing yourself thusly. Some of your nefarious characters might take advantage if provoked by an unwelcome outcome and prune that limb. You probably want to avoid such disarmament.
Maurice said it best at the ending of the episode, "Oh you son of a...Okay that is fair" I swear I could watch this for hours.
One thing I might like to see though is a quick recap after the player intro's to remind us what all happened last episode. Maybe show some edits of the last episode or just cut in your self telling us what happened. It just took me a few minutes to remember what was going on.
This is still shaping up the be the best D&D I have either watched or played in. Very engaging story, great characters and players.
I do wonder, how close was Georgie's head to exploding. If she rolled a 1, would it have been game over? It seemed like a possibility, and while I would have hated it even more the cliff hanger, knowing there are high stakes and consequences can add a lot to the game.
Such fun and such a great story, cannot wait for the next episode.
nice, please make more of these
(commenting for the algorithm)
Loving this! Great energy from the party (all of whom are super engaging) and a fantastic story from Guy!
Would love a recap of events so far before episode 5.
Looking forward to the next instalment 😀
Love the head exploding twist!
Dude this is intense...looks like fun all of u r awesome and im definitely lookin forward to the next episode
Fun session. Loving how this is progressing.
✌
I have tried to watch other campaigns, but I can never stay interested for the long periods that they run. The hour-ish videos are perfect. These characters and story are great and I'm learning a lot from watching Guy run his sessions.
I disagree sir. Respectfully of course. A 2 hour long session would be perfect & would allow for some post editing on Guy's part to condense certain situations.
Critical Role's 3+ hr episodes are way to long but a 2 hour Duskmourn Chronicles would be "Absolutely Fabulous!"
Yes!!
Very fun to watch :) Do you plan on releasing some materials like Maps, statblocks or the campaign outline? How many sessions do you have planned for the cvampaign?
Finally!
Im going to be sad very soon when i catch up on the backlog
I really would love to know why you are having your characters roll d6. Trying to see if I could add it to my game.
I would also love to know what the D6's are about 😅😅😅
That guy's need to be a constant clown is ruining immersion! Let people be serious in serious moments!
