Like mine, in '96 BMW had not equipped the Z3 with the traction control button, because the traction controls that act on the ABS are not present. Therefore, you can drift without worrying about pressing any buttons.
It could be, it depends on the year. mine has nothing, check if you have the asc/dsc button in yours. however, as soon as the car starts to move, the yellow light for the active controls turns on; if nothing turns on, the controls option is not present. Hi, diff lsd stock 25% original bmw E30 or E36. Now, this lsd, i'd swapped on my E36. You can buy (for z3) E30,E36 compact diff (similar type of case) or E36 coupé/sedan but have different external case (internal parts are similar)
Un autobloccante da e30/36, considerando i prezzi attuali (molto alti), una buona alternativa se non nettamente migliore, sarebbe l'acquisto di un modulo autobloccante (la parte interna) di tipo torsen o a lamelle da installare nel case originale del differenziale. Ho già effettuato questa modifica su E36, purtroppo non ho il video, ma non è un lavoro complesso. Probably, your z3 haven't like mine
None of the 1.9s had tc they had stability control however the button to turn it off is next to the ac controls

It's most likely a 3.15 torson lsd
3.45 stock lsd (clutch)
as long as you uave a lsd you can drift 80hp
