- Marines, like metal, fit a perfect mold - leaving no room for error.
At the end of Week 10, recruits face their most significant challenge - The Crucible.
The Crucible is a 54-hour long field event designed to push recruits to their limit. Throughout The Crucible, recruits will be expected to leverage every lesson and skill they’ve developed throughout their time at Marine Corps Recruit Training. Those who complete The Crucible are awarded their Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, and the title of U.S. Marine.
Video production by Lance Cpl. Christopher McMurry and Cpl. Daniel Johnson.
My grandson is less than a month away from graduating bootcamp. So very proud of this fine young man and all of you. 🇺🇸
As a mother of a recruit who starts the crucible in 2 days, watching this made me incredibly emotional - knowing what lies ahead for him, both in hardship and in incredible accomplishment and glory, words fail me in conveying the depth of my pride, admiration and love I have not just for my son, but for all the other sons and daughters going thru it with him, and all the ones that came before and will come after. In the blink of an eye, my son went from being my child to my hero and the person I look up to and admire most in this world ❤️.
My son will be going through the Crucible this week. We are proud of him and praying for all of those young men and women at Parris Island.
My daughter will be going through the crucible soon! Prayers for her & her platoon. May God keep them forever in the palm of His hand!

Our grandson is going through this now...🙏🏻❤️
I've seen a few guys wa tong to give up during the crucible. While sleep deprivation is not on the same level as hell week for seal training, it plays a large part. The thing that surprised me during the crucible is that you really didn't know who would want to give up. It didn't have anything to do with how well fit they were, or how strong. It was all about the mind.
My daughter is doing this now. Praying for her every night and day.
My son will be going through the crucible August 22-24-2023.we are proud of him and praying.God bless all Charlie co.1055

LFG
what in the Living fuck is Mmm Mmmm?
Really dig the channel but this video is just insufferable
It is not difficult
Yes it is. You throw in any regular civilian without proper training to complete the crucible and I guarantee maybe less than 5% will complete it. If that.
The humor of all this is the suspension of disbelief required to believe the introduction of females into the USMC was an objective good. Place one unit, regardless of scale, of male Marines versus females, an the answer as to the victor versus victim, is beyond dispute.
Women in the Infantry destroyed the Corps...
czcams.com/video/6P40_kd-mS8/video.html
Women still make up less than 2% of infantry roles, if they did "destroy" the corps that would be quite the feat.
Ha well Oden feels differently .. through out history women were known as some of the fiersest warriors
Freydes jumped off the ship big pregnant sword welding ..so ferocious the opponents surrendered . instantly...vicking lore
Ok boomer
Most lame and boring video start ever…
most be for a keyboard warrior that could never make it past the 1st hour of "The Crucible"! Which is fine, not all of us have the metal earn the title, "United States Marine"! Just reflect, you can enjoy your life, because of the Marines and others that server their country. FYI - really dull screen name! You couldn't earn that title either.
Funny of you to say, I’m a Marine myself… just graduated from San Diego BT
@@Country78155 quiet now huh…lol
@@Xoktik prove it! As a Marine from my day, would never call this boring! And a MCRD San Diego Marine is much tougher then a PI Marine in my opinion. None the less, we are all brothers and sisters of the same cloth.
My bf is graduating this upcoming Friday 😭🩵and I'm so proud and I can't wait
