When she reaches the F# and G, I am guessing, her dance of happiness after that is totally adorable. Holy scheisse she is amazing. I wish I had at least half of the talent of any of those musicians in the room.
I first heard Diana in the Koningin Der Nacht, on CZcams. I was taken aback. She is so forceful, so graceful, so dedicated, so disciplined, so perfect. I have been following her ever since.

This music from 14:00 to 15:46 is a pure joy. Including the turn around of Diana and the big smile of conductor, when he realised, that she finaly did it. Wow. I Love them all.

I love how she so completely surrenders herself to her craft when she sings. Her discipline and mastery is obvious, in that her voice carries so much more than simply sound. Even watching her in a recording, pushing herself, with hand gestures is by itself inspiring.
Such sacrifice, and courage to bare your soul naked, through such masterfully performed music!
Your talent is self evident. Your vigilant dedication, and immense effort to temper yourself for your craft; is legendary!

Agree with both of your comments but to me what makes her so outstanding is how much she loves what she is doing. the joy she takes in her performance puts her on a whole other level. She is such a joy to watch as well as to hear.

I have just recently become of fan of Opera and whereas Classical music has always spoken to me, I am now in love with both as the true expression of the human soul....and I thank Diana Damrau for that. This is an actual monument. Like the videos of the hermit conductor Carlos Kleiber, where he conducts the Concertgebouw Orchestra (Beethoven's 4th and 7th) This, to me, is as monumental because you can literally see what she does with her body to release those notes and how musical they are. I've also seen her Queen of the Night performance. She's just amazing man!!!!!!!!!!
