Got one similar so far i like it. My only issue i am trying to figure out now is if there is computer software that allows you to display, take snapshots, record videos of the boroscope. Or if you have to use specific apps on phones, tablets ,...etc device. Because it be nice to beable to work with it on a computer/laptop directly as well as the smartphones and mobile devices. Not a huge deal could have been designed that way. Tried to see if there was a built in http page to the wifi point of the device and there is no http server so it have to be desktop software/drivers to do this.
I received mine, today. haven't had time to use it on my phone. I need to get a double USB female adapter cable, before I can use it on my phone. it works well on my tablet.

+Vincent K Hi there! The endoscope barrel is 33mm x 7.3mm in diameter. The lens itself is approximately 1-1.5mm across. The cord length (from camera to the control) is 70cm. The cord is fairly stiff so I think with a bit of 'wiggling' it should work fine, much only concern would be the lens getting 'gunked up' if there was any debris in the pipe. In computer the ViewPlayCap software, and oasis software both recocgnize device usb2camera but the picture is like a thermal camera picture, strange colors, not clear shape of the objects, strange shapes many pixels intereference in image. I tried the adjustments by software but nothing changes. Seems there is an issue with image sensor. I wish I could send pictures from this camera but I dont know how to post them here

Be careful of what you but especially from facebook adds as they are mostly fake or will send you another item from what you order. Biggest fraud comes from ORDERPLUS...stay away from them adds. I have been bitten 3 times so I now buy only from ebay...never had problems there.
Thats good if u have micro usb plug port, now if u have usb type C port u will have to use a adapter which in this case how ever the adapter is wire makes the phone not find the usb camera while using the type c port adapter. So far i wasted money buying this crappy endoscope cause it hasn't worked for me at all.

I bought the same exact one, works fine on PC but not at all on my samsung s2plus nor my huawaeiyey (I cant spell that) they are both androioiyoiyd (maybe I'm stupid)
With tiny lens glued on the end, a make shift camera with focal distance of far less can be achieved. I used a splash drop of clear epoxy. Optics not brilliant but can now easily inspect down to 0201 level (about 5-10mm focal distance). I don't have a light control and now too bright. Also need polarising filters or diffuser for light, really. A mod for another time.

You could have tried increase the distance and see the performance. Probably in the next attempt you may do that.

I'm not familiar with HTCs. I assume you have installed camera software for it? It may be a setting somewhere to activate USB host.
