I would have liked your video to give guidance about the chances of the pcb being damaged. The charge light does not illuminate which I assume means the pcb is damaged but it may just be the battery. The charger is working.

Any idea where one could buy a 12 button board for an mmo mouse? trying to repair a steel series mouse and the button board is faulty.

cool video.ive not long had my gotek and I'm having a problem when saving a game or career in SWOS it will work ok then suddenly after a while i get disk error come up for no reason. its happened twice now the first time was half way through my a season in career mode and the last time i had completed the full season in career mode saved it and the next time i came to play it the save disk said disk error. any idea's why? has anyone in the comments had this? or does any one play swos with a gotek and have it saving ok i cant work out why it does it

I have a tester that looks exactly the same on the outside but I couldn't get the G LED to light up when testing shielded network cables. I opened it up and saw that the LED for the G position was not even soldered onto the board. A total fake. I am now trying to find a video of ANY tester that shows somebody testing an S/FTP cable to see if G light up, but I am unable to find a single video proving any tester actually lights the G LED!

Wow even an OXCO I guess you needed a much more accurate clock back then. The unit took 15 minutes to acquire the almanac data if you did not input the initial coordinates of where you would be operating. 15 minutes is a long time especially in a hot situation.

If you put a drive in larger than 2TB make sure to format FIRST as NTFS otherwise the Floureon storage software will show a drive error and you won't be able to do anything with it. My 16 Ch has 4TB drive and it records 24/7 on 10 channels for about 3 months before overwriting oldest recordings first.

Just bought an old Amiga 500, of course the floppy drive is dead. I salvaged an original Mitsumi from an external drive to repair the Amiga. Now the Sony from my spare parts will go into the external case. Thanx for the tutorial

The Compaq LTE 286 (Citizen U0DA-02A) uses a very similar drive. Thanks to this video, I was able to find the belt. I did however have to do a very extensive recap on my drive (normal LTE 286 maintenance) but the drive works. Thank you for your upload.

Nice demo but I have issues with it. Proper kits have a cradle to place the filled cartridge in after the three colours are injected and a needle-less syringe is used to suck out about 2 or 3 mil from the output which the cradle aligns over the exit suction hole and then you test the outlet on a piece of paper to make sure you see all 3 colours in a stripe when you dab it on paper. Also good kits have 3 or 4 empty syringes and a separate needle for each so you don't have to clean a syringe and put a different colour in it. One syringe for each of the 3 colours then wash them all in the sink at the end. Residue water and dilution is what caused the stripey output you showed. Also you didn't point out that the needle mustn't be inserted more than half way into the sponge inside as this can cause problems. Otherwise it's a very good reassuring video and I like it.

I think you’re on the right track. I had cause to test a cable with pins 1, 2 and 3 not connected and pins 4 to 8 connected pin to pin as per cat5. No LEDs lit, indicating a duff cable. But the cable works. So, it would seem that one of the lines 1, 2 or 3 are normally used as the return path for testing. So, for example if line 1 is the return path when testing lines 2 to 8, then if line 1 is ok all show as ok but if line 1 isn’t then all will fail. Does that make sense. This is using an identical tester which showed a normal cat5 as working fine.

Im interested in repairing my naga epic chroma. There's a curved plastic piece on the inside I'm having trouble identifying, and it's completely snapped multiple times. It fell out when I opened the body of the mouse. The mouse worked and I've since replaced it. But the left and right clicks sometimes act as if I have released the button when I'm holding it down. Anyone that can tell me what part it is so i can try to replace it please comment.

Its a lot of work. I have three Amiga 500's one now with a kaput drive. I think ill use whichever one still has a working drive and if they all faulted then consider this mod.
