FYI ... Both my wife and I watch the 7 am upload every morning. She is in her space and I'm in mine so no discussion until we meet in the kitchen for morning oatmeal. I'm putting chocolate in the oatmeal this morning. I may be making oatmeal twice today! :-)
Aw.
Just wanted to say thanks! Watching one of your videos made me realize today to put up my hood to stop the annoying bugs from buzzing my ears. 🎉😂
In the rainiest NH summer ever I cannot believe how lucky you got in the Whites 🙏 so happy for you
"Wicked nice view of the Presidentials". 🤗💗🤗
Spoken like a true Massahampsherian!
Gorham is a cool little town. back in 2016 i met my first Thur hikers at the Mc Donalds. at first i though they were homeless. but a couple in the restuarant was talking about how they were hiking the Appalachian Trail. The next day I talked to a few more hikers at the trailhead. They peaked my interest about the AT. In March 2017 I was following white blazes myself. you never know the effect you can have when you take time and speak to others when hiking.
Funny you mention Ziggy: he shuttled us last week, when I bailed out of the Mahoosuc Notch under the rain - yes, not courageous enough to do that. You had such a beautiful weather that day, good for you!
NAHAMSHA IS ALMOST DONE WITH NAHAMSHA!!! I didn't have a chance to watch yesterday due to the holiday but I'm catching up this morning, it's my favorite way to start the work day! So excited to see you finish this last state, we're all so proud of you, Taylor!
Lol, you don’t smell bad from here ! 👍 Glad to hear your eye is doing better 👍👍👍👁. Awesome day of hiking 👍
Oh my gosh, the trail climbed 1500 ft in one mile?! That's literally straight up 😅😳
“Wicked Nice” 👍😜 You are definitely a New England girl!
I love how your videos are so thorough and informative, yet short.
You are very efficient - with hiking with town chores with video editing - all of it! Well done. Glad you are ready for the next round
I love watching your videos!! I live in Gorham and would have looked to see you walking along the sidewalk!!
"the type of day where you can't stop walking!" Perfect. Beautiful. Celebrating you on this 4th of July morning. 🧨🎆🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 Thanks for the beautiful views.
cruisin...always enjoy your even keeled videos and dunkin' lovin' 🤣
Another great video. Fabulous progress. Glad that your eye is healing up. Walk on.
Enjoy the carnival in Gorham today!
Beautiful views, nasty bugs I'm itching
You are amazing and inspiring to so many. Your not alone in your journey. We cheer you on, each step of the way.
It's winding down now. But still a lot of work coming. Beautiful views!
You had some great weather. Some thru hikers right before you didn't. I guess that the home court advantage for Nahamsha's favorite thru hiking daughter. Hope you're enjoying some rest this 4th!
Beautiful view thank you for nice videos every day.
Beautiful!! Happy 4th of July everyone!😊
Taylor
Liking the glamping at the 🛖 huts
I’m a section hiker and that’s my plan for the whites in the next year or two
I took all three of my daughters to all of the huts at various times when they were younger
Great place and beautiful area to hike
Thank you for the videos
Da Breeze
Those bugs! They are thriving in this rainy season for sure.
Good Job Taylor‼️Boy that section of the trail is beautiful ‼️Thanks for posting!
Watched the last two vids in detail. Heading there for a section and will probably take 5 days to do the same distance! Time to get off the couch. Yeah, Kraig Adams fan here too!
Beautiful views, sounds like you are happy in Gorham. Happy 4th 🎆
The last time I was at Carter Notch Hut it was under about 3 feet of snow. That was a really fun hike. The joys of the North Country, no cell or wifi service.
I’m a retired long haul trucker, those bluesy days u had so reminiscent for me. Keep it going and I’m roooting for u on my couch! Gotta go time for a beer.
Happy 4th!
Looked like a beautiful day for hiking. Great views
Keep pushing Taylor!! You got this. So proud!!
It’s always 6am for me when you upload but I love it. I roll right over and watch lol 😂. Your eye looks better. These views are incredible! 🩵🩵🩵
A night in town after a long day on the trail must feel very good. Thanks for the beautiful views.
OMG I think u r awesome. Me at 41 years old. Wish I could do what u do. But 3 kids in. Maybe one day. I will get the courage. Thank you for being such a strong woman 😊
I think that view from Mt Hight is probably the best in NH
💯 Nahamsha 2:22 Bugs are definitely getting fired up out there; they eat Ben's for breakfast.😖 I loved when you got to the Quality Inn and said " I friggin' made it!" What a great day. You're crushing the miles. Last state coming up! Take care Taylor ✌️
Glad you got out of the bugs for a while. Thank you.
Used to be Pinic tables akong the River in the back of the parking lot of McD's. Another good spot but probably crowed would have Mr. Pizza on the back Deck next to the River. Great View in today's video, Thank You.
You really get a lot accomplished during your town stays ...nice job !!!
Great views! Wow, going into your last state soon. Enjoy your rest. Safe travels.
So glad you are able to be on trail and enjoy all these fabulous views!!!
I missed you at the Madison hut by a few hours
Amazingly clean clothes after 1800 miles. We need to know! 😅 I guess day hiking allows the comforts.
Just recently came across your channel. I started April 1 on a thru hike and had to get off due to finances at Roanoke. Don’t think we crossed paths unless you stopped by the Riff-Raff bonfire at Trail Days…but I’ve been binging your recent videos of the Whites, because after the VA Triple Crown, that’s the section I’m most looking forward to and scared of! Lol! Hoping to finish the remaining 1400 miles starting next June. Gotta do some of my own trail magic, enjoy Trail Days 24, and wait for a bubble to reach Daleville before jumping back on…ohh and make more $$$. 😂. Loving your videos in the meantime! -UpDown NOBO 23
Yassssss chica!!! Kick ass! 🖤🥾⛰️
Very brave and well done!
You clean up well. It must be tough being trail dirty. Hopefully you are back in your store and not carrying the trekking poles. It is a thrill to watch your daily vlogs and the channily is cheering for you. ME safe.
Fantastic views. The bugs are nasty bad. I could see them flying around you in the video. Be safe.. HAPPY hiking.
Beautiful views
Good job taylor!! you got this
Amazing views! I had the same problem with the Wi-Fi at the Holiday Inn in Portland ME and Portsmouth NH. I hope the bugs are not that bad where you are now. Happy Fourth of July 🇺🇸 Safe hiking 💕🥾 ⛰️
Good morning Taylor! Love your videos. ❤ Happy hiking to you! Be careful stay safe and enjoy your Hike. 🙏
And, good morning to you, as well. Curious as to how high the Rattle River was and whether or not you made the crossings or bushwhacked a short distance back to the A.T. Two days to Bethel? A little ambitious, but confident you'll make it. Be well, stay safe.
It only takes a few seconds to take them out and put them back in.
Did you come up Nineteen Mile Brooke Trail, past the huge waterfall and big gigantic rock slide? Did that with my cousin in '76 or something.
Heading to the AT right now. Hiking bear mountain today in NY!
Crowds crowds crowds
@@frolege1As Hawk said, “There are 2 zoos on Bear Mountain!..”
Your doing amazing this trek! Carters are beautiful, but you earn the miles!
one of the things I like about long hair is if you let loose the bugs can not get through it and it acts as insulation during cold weather
Beautiful
Happy Fourth of July Taylor!!!
Taylor, I've been watching you for the last 30 days or so on tv. Finally subscribed on my phone😊 You are an inspiration. Every time you mention Dunkin Donuts and food, I think it would be so fun when you are finished your thru hike...to make an entire video of snippets of you mentioning Dunkin. Please do it!!!
You are an inspiration.
Another room
Not everyone’s poor….😊
Good idea; you do need to give your eyes a rest from contacts. A good morning on the 4th of July 🇺🇲🎆🧨❤
Happy 4 th of July 🎉Taylor….what a journey you have taken us on! Thanks so much …I’m thinking that by now you may be done (real time) and if so congrats…but what will your followers do when your daily vlogs run out??? Lol
Probably not yet, at the beginning she mentioned the target completion date of July 8 or 10th, i forget which, but sometime this weekend most likely.
So many bugs at that altitude!
I think that the only place they aren’t is above about 5000’
Good video with lots of great beautiful views, so let's keep on hiking, 😊 Happy 4th July 😊
Get your CLs out every night you can. ❤️
🦋
Thank you
Just curious on tipping reccomendations for various hotels and if you tip hostels or not? Also, perhaps your VPN is restricting your connectivity at the hotel and temporarily pausing it may fix, then enable again after upload.
time to get out the bug head net
7:52 best line of video "I don't think I smelled this bad in awhile"
George I chuckled at that one too!🤣 anyways, I got a quit commenting on these videos as I have Fourth of July festivities to attend to😂👍🇺🇸🎉🥩🍔🍗🍉🥑🍻
@@leedanielson7452 Lee enjoy your 4th and we will see you bright and early tomorrow at 6:59am
Doesn’t the trail go near Andover?
Stella had truly horrible bugs the last few days of Maine. She was wearing all her jackets and pants in the heat because they were so bad. So if you have a chance to permethrin your gear and get deet I would do it. She said the people who did that weren’t suffering nearly as much. Not sure how far ahead of your videos you are but thought I’d mention it in case you have time to do something about it.
Could change your name to “The Hotel Hiker” 😊
I could
I use my buff to cover my ears from bugs,u might like that better than a hood
👍👍
What # day was Mount Washington? Did I miss it, Taylor?
It was two or three days before this.
What happened to the bug net you packed out to try?
I still have it
It can be a wild card for visibility
@@TaylortheNahamshaHiker You’ll have to give us an update on if/how it worked if you ever grab it out. I’ve thought about it each time you mention the bugs being full swarm lol
Are these mountains covered in snow during winter? Or just parts, or just occasionally? ...
It's all covered in snow in the winter
These mountains are hundreds of millions of years old and used to be as tall as Mt. Everest
@TaylortheNahamshaHiker, wow. I bet that looks amazing...
I think that's the clearest I've ever seen those mountains, but it's a big bummer that you have all those blood sucking insects around you. I really hate them!
@nahamsha do you wear a bug net? Seems a wonderful way to stay bug free around your head and neck.
Hope you use a VPN with all the public WiFi you use!
8:39 Taylor,Taylor, Taylor ... McDonalds , Dollar General ...... I've been to Gorham and there are much better choices.
George she’s being frugal!!! She hasn’t worked for a while!!! 🤣💰💰💰
" wicked nice view" you gotta be a Massachusetts girl Boston area ??
I like Craig Adams videos, they're beautiful, but the music in them is so sad and depressing I just can't watch them.
You are amazing !! Glad you had some beautiful views today !!
