Ardie is such a classy guy. Massive respect from a 'bok fan!
As a Saffa I love watching Ardie play and I am in awe of how humble he is despite his incredible talent and work ethic. I put Ardje up there with Siya as one of the greatest in modern day rugby, not only for how they play and conduct themselves, but how they lead. Great content from Jim and those at Rugby Pass recently. Thank you.
Siya is humble, and also very overrated! He is mediocre at best.
@west1329 overrated? What a dumb kant 🤡
@@west1329 From what perspective?
He's a workhorse, a ball-carrier and distributor, a leader, a proven winner.
He also played the entire World Cup less than 5 MONTHS after having ACL replacement surgery.
@@user-lw2ng1jb1m From a logical and obvious perspective, if you think he was good. Go look at Jaco Kriel. He was 100x better but never picked for a Springbok. The only reason I think was quota was not met for him to be picked. It's sad but true! Kolisi was good on the day. But it was 1 out of 10 games that he was good. Like I said mediocre at best. Jaco Kriel on the other hand was very competent and played almost every game like a rockstar. I would estimate 8/10 games superb. And maybe 1 or 2 games he was mediocre on the day. And that's being harsh on Kriel honestly. He was a talent that should have been a Sprinbok...
@@west1329 Jaco Kriel was a Springbok - I remember Jaco Kriel playing against Ireland.
Also, he wasn't a Bok captain - throughout history it's been noted that excellent players lose out because they're competing for a spot with the captain, so this situation isn't different. Do you think Kriel would've captained us to 2 WCs?
Anyways, Kriel was a great player, but that doesn't make Kolisi 'mediocre'
It was the greatest quarter-final till later that evening when France played SA.
Ardi is such n humble guy from a Pakistan fan
What a game that was. Ardie, as usual, was immense.
Big Jim and Ardie Savea talking footy, what's not to like
Being Irish in that stadium had a rock appear in my stomach after 10 minutes into the game. Many of the Kiwis fans around me had the same mentality as Ardie and was just hard to ignore that with the qf curse dancing around in the head
same but now I feel like there's something different in the air. We lost, that hurt. A lot. We still have something to prove and they don't anymore. It just feels like everything will be focused on winning a wold cup until we do and all these sore losses only add fuel to the fire.
The Irish rugby team over celebrated the Bok win. The Boks were just a small fish to in the big scheme of things.
Had a nice feeling of Schadenfreude for Ioane at the full time whistle in the final.
The sourness is deep 😂😂
Ball in play time for this match was less than in the final. I didn't hear anybody complaining that 'the game is too slow' afterwards.
Boss when the team name is the Springboks and they keep winning world cups for fun, only then it's an issue. But If its another team where it happens, no problem!🤣
I thought the other QF was the best ever hahaha are we just throwing that tag around whenever the shoe fits 😅
Both were just incredible. I'd say both of those games were the best games of rugby ever played and I've seen a lot. Different games but you couldn't take your eyes off the screen.
Yeah I'd put France v SA just ahead. Ireland had a poor first 20, so doesn't deserve to be up there as the best. France and SA were at maximum from the beginning
@@Baz502 good opinion but I disagree and I’m French. Both were mouth watering games. It was just amazing to watch from start to finish. For neutrals these are advertising rugby and what should be shown!
@LeMerch Fair enough. I think France made the game more a classic. Those kicks from SA which led to 2 tries, if France were more switched on, SA would have struggled to get anywhere close. Scoreline would have been similar to the France v NZ game, France being comfortable winners again. Maybe, some credit to SA for spotting some weakness in France.
@@Baz502 exactly my thoughts, the planning from SA was immense. Even just not playing the same team for the previous 7 tests in itself was amazing. And then the actual game was madness from start to finish.
How can he comment on a game he didn't even play in? Boks Vs France was the greatest and you know it Jim
France-South Africa QF was better
Until the Ezibeth deliberate slap down
All Blacks beating Ireland was never an upset. It was always coming, Ireland got too cocky and self entitled. First 20 minutes was the game done. Valiant fightback, but no team ever wins chasing the game against NZ. Once NZ are up by 10 points or more, game is over. NZ if anything were a bit soft to let Ireland back in
Don't know what planet you come from, Ireland are never cockey we are the eternal underdog and every one l knew were nervous as fk leading up to that game .we didn't really show our true worth and still should have won .
@lockoshocko the Irish team definitely were cocky, they didn't properly respect NZ. If they had respected them, they wouldn't have handed them a 13-0 soft headstart. Yeah they woke up, and could have won in the end. But if they had taken NZ seriously, Ireland would have won quite comfortably
@@Baz502lad how on earth do you think they were cocky?
Never beaten NZ in a RWC, never been past a quarter final, all the talk at the time was hoping they could do it and trying to ignore the QF monkey on the back
I’d say they certainly thought they could do it and they were probably more confident than any Irish team before them to face the AB but they certainly weren’t cocky
@@Baz502 I'm going to say your SA - The Irish were never cocky ever. Its not in our DNA to be. We leave that for the Anglo's
greatest world cup game ever ?? said no one ever. hamilton's scarcity of knowledge on his chosen subject is getting more embarrassing by the week.
