- This should've been the ideal service pattern for the Queens Blvd Line, with G trains being extended to Forest Hills to fill in the gap for M trains. M trains were cut from Forest Hills to 57th Street in Manhattan. Obviously, as a former Queens Blvd rider myself, the R can't handle the local by itself but the MTA thinks otherwise. Why they didn't extend the G to help local riders is beyond my comprehension...
This video also features a couple R188s with experimental purple LEDs and purple seats as well. Merry Christmas!!

The reason they didn't send the G to Forest Hills is because the G would need more trains, and there not enough crews to do so
So that's why G trains weren't extended. Gotcha
r211s just might fix that
Nice video!
Thank you, always happy to deliver good content!!
Ngl if the MTA never had those budget cuts in 2010 the V train probably still could've existed and the G going to Forest Hills on weekends
The V stopped at no new stops, but was a bit more convenient, while the G going to Forest Hills would’ve been cool
I don't know why the G and r weren't extended to Jamaica since forest hills is a bad terminal plus the F merges with the E after 75th Avenue.
Godly Station. Nice action
Tysm for doing my home line :)
