Times Square is almost that. From Bryant Park there's closed passageway to Harold Square. With another closed passageway to Penn Station. IMO 42nd Street feels like an airport Shuttle, in which feeling Metronorth and 4/5/6 are worped into the same station.

A free transfer is also available to the 4, 5, J, and Z trains by walking to the Fulton Street station and using OMNY or your MetroCard.
