“Dudes! Holy cow!” Lol😂 I love your enthusiasm Joe!!
Finally a proper crawler combo for my Traxxas Summit 😍🙏
This is a video I've been waiting for 😁the system looks good. I ordered the 1700kv version, I'm going to be putting it into my MK-07. I had the R2 at one point and was using the iBus2 with my Flysky Noble NB4 which was awesome because I could change almost any setting straight through my radio.
How do you like the 1700kv? Do you wish you got the 2000kv? I'm in the air between the two myself. I have an scx6 but I think the mk07 is geared about the same as an scx6 first gear
Hobbywing is really knocking it out of the park
So crazy 🤩 asowme Job from Hobbywing
This Is absolutely fabulous
Thank you for sharing! Looks like I've found a replacement for my 1700KV sensorless 4076 that's in my Tamiya Juggernaut. 😁 Still going with a 1700KV just sensored. 😊
Joe I am running the max6 g2 8s on stock motor and it’s awesome crawls nice and slow and plenty of wheelie power in second gear this looks like a interesting system 🔥🔥🔥😎👍
👍👍😁
That is a good deal!
Aw man, the dual aux channels sold me on that. Guess thats going in the fcx10 since flysky has a receiver to pair with stock transmitter, probably with a smaller motor though..
I'm pretty sure that'll fit in a TRX4, if you happen to have a beater laying around to launch off the big ramp....
You answered a lot of my questions in this video, thank you. What pinion size are you using here?
👍😁😎✌️
Now if they'd make something for the utb18.... still holding my breath avoiding furitek 😂
Whats wrong with the furitek stuff? You could also get a 380 revolver and a micro x2 or cm mini v2
I have 3 of there brushless systems absolutely love them and truly I only use castle and hobbywing in bigger car than 1/24 but I’d swear by my furitek stuff
Utb is a funny name
@@Hungrybird474 ultimate trail buggy!
😁👍
Woth that slow of crawling capability in a 2000kv motor is amazing. And y not run a higher kv if it's still able to go as slow as a slug. I run 3500kv puller pro on 4s in a wraith 2.2 and absolutely love it. Super slow and Flys when I want it to.
This answered all but one of my questions. Does it fit in the ryft stock chassis 😬 good to know on the SCX6
MK-07 should be a good home for this!
👍👍👍👍👍
I would use it in my SCX6, but with the bluetooth settings, nope. I have nothing but problems with RC bluetooth from hobbywing escs to traxxas modules and everything in between. Ill stick to the hardwire programming.
Only bt I had trouble with is from castle
Only bt issue I've had with anything is the spectrum module.
I thought they are supposed to release an adapter plate to fit scx6
Where did you get the green thumb control on your gt5?
Overkill for the Ryft?
Does anyone think this will be good in a basher like a talion
So I am building a 1:10 10x10 based on TRX parts. Would this be a good motor/ESC for that heavy beast, as I am expecting there to be some unavoidable binding issues? I was considering the 1700KV, not the 2000kv.
Have you tried it out with a 1/10 scale motor
The fact the battery leads are fixed and no replaceable is dumb move. Considering the motor wires are replaceable.
But I can see why they Hobbywing it 💸
You can still replace them if you have a Dremel and some patience. But I agree. Would have been nice if they put tabs to solder our own wires. I had to replace HobbyWing ESC wires when they got ripped out in the Center Spool on a Kraton 6s.
I'll call it.
Mk 7
Still using aa batteries in the gt5 huh? They make lipo batteries specific for it
I'd rather have fewer fire hazards sitting around my house. I use lithium ion batteries in mine.
Can’t the stock motor in the SCX-6 be used with the new ESC…? My stock motor in my SCX-6 is a 1200kv, can’t it handle 6s Power…? Just swap out the ESC, maybe…? It’s got the round type sensor cable too…
Any dc brushless motor can take any voltage, as long as you don't go over the max amps. The issue is the interface between the esc and motor. Depends on pinout of the encoder.
Stock scx6 motor can handle a max of 4s
Every motor I run on my quads and airplanes is run on voltage over what is stated. The motor, unless wound with tiny multistrand wire, doesn't care about the voltage (to a point), as long as you don't exceed max amps. With a car motor, the esc is the issue, as the fets need to be rated for 6s. Also, with cars, gearing limits how high a voltage you can go per kv of the motor. Airplanes you just prop down.
@@scottyh72 very well explained sir, I agree with you. I just ordered the HobbyWing MAX6 and I plan on just SENDING IT….
@@scottyh72 My motor gets hot on 4s, it would definitely not handle anymore
