Yup, he literally won twice as much silverware as all their other managers put together. They had the best manager of all time, they had a massive manager, in terms of his success, which is not the same as being a massive club. Without Fergie they'd be behind the likes of Everton and Aston Villa, level with Sunderland. Massive clubs aren't so reliant on one manager for all their success.

I believe everything he said except for the "winning everything" part. I think the money was more of a factor. If we stay objective here, we all know this season United won't win any trophies. On top of that, City are actually building in a very smart way, a legacy team. They'll dominate for the next 4 years. They will bring whoever they want because they have the money (United can't compete against them economically). They won't just stay as they are, they'll bring more and better players if needed. They have the best coach in the world. Champions league that might not win every year but the English league they'll dominate. So when Sanchez says he has gone to United to win, it doesn't sound right to me. It could be his dream team and all, I can believe that, but he won't win everything. If he really wanted to win everything, he would've gone to City. City wanted him but Guardiola didn't see smart to pay him that much wage and United did so that's why he went to united.
United historically a much bigger club than City. But City are the better team at the moment and they'll dominate for the next 4 years. How old will Sanchez be? 33 to 34. His peak time is just going to drop from now on.

I think after Ferguson we needed to rebuild our team and we are still in the transitional period. However we are getting there. When Pep took over he had good nucleus of team already there he just had to add a few players. So I think he had an easier job compared to Mourinho. Mourinho is a winner and I am sure he will come good. He has done it without bundles of money e.g.Porto and Inter. Pep had a great team already there at Barcelona and he didn't really succeed at Byern as winning the league there every season is not considered success and at City he got a blank cheque book.
