I hope 9 will have frantic combat that makes the player feel like thier just barely holding off an onslaught of nightmarish abominations flanking them from all sides.

I feel like Resident Evil 9 should take place at an Umbrella Prison or Asylum and have sort of a Arakum Asylum Vibe to it with several monsters that are linked to the past games. I also think Resident Evil 9 should focus on a younger group of umbrella agents or rookies more specifically Rose and Zoey I feel like a game centered around those two would be perfect with Chris and possibly Ada in the background doing their own things and we swap between the 4 characters perspectives and we play as each eventually linking together. The reason why I say Zoey and Rose is both characters have lost their family’s in different ways and because of their shared experiences I feel like a big sister little sister duo between Zoey and Rose would be perfect. Considering Zoey knew Ethan at one point Rose will want to learn from her about him as well as make a friend. It’s obvious that the Rose DLC is not gonna be the end of her story and was a conclusion to the Ethan and Rose Story and to set up her being on her own so I think it would be beneficial for both. I could imagine Zoey wanting to join Umbrella because she doesn’t want what happened to her family to happen to others around the world and finding out how Ethan had a daughter I feel like she’d reach out and want to protect her and look out for her and also give Zoey a chance to get over her trauma of having Evelin take away her family and be more trusting and open to having a sister like figure. Now for Chris I think having him there as a mentor makes sense and considering we didn’t get to see that in Village I have no doubt they want to make a whole game around that. As for Ada I feel like having her in here would kinda give fans a healthy blend of both old and new characters from different eras.
I feel like since we just got a whole bunch of Leon with Resident Evil 4 and the Remake of 5 on the way I don’t think having Leon star in yet another game would make a whole lot of sense plus having it be a next generation or the big sister little sister duo with Zoey and Rose would be a breath of fresh air and keep the story going while also setting up games for all the different eras because right now I feel like there needs to be a sort of conclusion to roses story and I feel like the DLC didn’t do that and instead set her up to be one of the main characters in the new game
I'm not interested in Leon. I only want to see Chris. And maybe Jill

I am looking forward to see resident evil 9 leon is my second favorite character Ethan winters is my first favorite. I love how re9 is going back to supernatural theme like resident evil village with the lycans and vampires and werewolves monsters. And there brings the wendigo and skinwalker creatures in this game is awesome 👍

Don't know many people who like Ethan more than Leon. Ethan is great though. Nice to see a good father figure in the media for a change.
