During the conversation with the Governor, when he walks away you can ask him one final question if this particular night scares him. He then stops for a minute and says "Not a single star..." That proves the fact that stars actually vanish as highfleet's story goes on.

Also if the guiding star was low onthe horizon it could disappear early on, soon after the strike but long before the clouds of dust darkened the sky.

Given the fact that Kushan is a randomly spawning city name, which I took as a reference to Homeworld, (both games already reference DUNE as well, so no reason why they couldn't) and the fact that the game takes place in a giant desert, given all the evidence here I'm relatively confident the Khiva reactor is a ship. An ark, to be precise, so a colony ship. This would explain why everyone would be called to shelter there in the event of the astronomical event that these spacefaring people would've most likely predicted. As standard armament on starships, even colony vessels for self defense, likely includes nuclear torpedoes, well...
A very long shot headcanon of mine that's certainly not true is that the plaque at the end is the guidestone. This is most likely actually a qoda, although there's nothing to say *a* guidestone, not necessarily the Hiigaran one, could itself be a qoda.

I’m gonna add something else: WHAT IF mark sayadi is actually the real prophet and the masked guy is his john the baptist?
The way i play the game is usually that the protagonist doesn’t believe the prophecy and uses it to gain advantage, but, as the game goes on, he starts to believe the prophecy, and then the game ends and we don’t get to know what’s true or not.

    • @clankplusm

the ancient A.I core in the heart of a massive domed fortress would be a dead giveaway that these savages bashing eachother to death in retrofitted RD-51 husks with bladed weapons strapped to them ***May*** have undergone some technological regression after nuking eachother. question is, just how far ahead is Hammerfight in the timeline? i've heard that it's a good 25,000 years in the future, which would allow a very narrow window of time for living things the size of the worms and polyps to re-appear. given that they reference the A.I as a demon, a voice from the dead, it could very well just be an ancient supercomputer that resided in the Khiva reactor, most likely as a manager of its facilities, now in a state too decayed to be of actual use beyond using its drone factories to communicate with the outside world, relying on the kindness of the outside colonies to not destroy it as it continues to rot in its lead and steel tomb. also given the use of similar names, and the use of H- as a prefix for important things like Helaat and helaims. this also confirms that elaims won the race war and became the dominant race.

This idea is not my own, but the duke can be considered as a prophet, as we the player can use outside knowledge to predict events in the game. Hence the title, Deus In Nobis, god within us.
Also in a event which happens with the young Alsahir, who can maim the Duke if you bring the lord governor to your side. Could that give validity to the Duke, or is it intended as more of a punishment for your hubris.

Let me just align this long crosshair line with the missle and hold left mouse button. Oh i have to fight 2 strikegroups simultanously, no stress let me just align the crosshair with their ammo/bridge and 1 shot them with AP. With short crosshair intercepting missles is more risky as it should be and in chaos of a hard dogfight it makes you miss more, both of which are imho good things.

Late in the game, the ship you sent out to check on the capital returns with news that the capital is in a much less dire situation than Pyotor made it out to be. This makes Daud call him out for his lies, and the player is given a decision: Let Pyotor shoot Daud and continue the campaign, or arrest Pyotor and allow Daud to take Romani assets back to the capital to follow the actual orders given at the beginning of the game. The only ships you are left with are the Sevastopol and any mercernaries you hire.
