the scar is what tips everybody off to who Harry is. He's the Boy Who Lived, the scar's practically Voldemort's calling card on the boy's face.
Interesting, I'm sure the scar will be addressed more and more in the following movies. PS. if you enjoy the video, it would mean a lot to me if you shared it around and subscribe. It signals the algorithm to recommend the video to more people like you! Thanks!
Its called Philosopher's Stone pretty much everywhere except America. They renamed it "Sorcerer's Stone" either because it has less syllables or because many would be put off (or confused) by the term Philosopher.
One great thing about this series is that a lot of things that appear or occur in earlier books/movies and seem to be just unimportant details actually turn out to have much more importance as the series goes on. Unfortunately some of these things are left out of the movies so some things just seem random in them.
Loved your reaction! You got a new subscriber here who’s excited for the rest of the HP series reactions!
Thanks Sam, glad you enjoyed it! Please share it around, it helos the algorithm know that it should suggest it to other people like you :) Every share is important!
original UK book & film releases used Philosopher, they changed it in US to Sorcerer.
Really unnecessary in my opinion, but ok. Philosopher to me sounds way cooler anyway.
CERBERUS is the giant three headed dog of Greek mythology who guards the gateway to the lower world.
yay found another reactor that i like watching my favorites
Thanks man, means a lot! Make sure to subscribe and share the videos around, it helps grow the channel way more then you might think!
Merci.
Can’t wait to see part 2!!
Regarding the "Let the feast begin" being the best spell for Christmas etc. I have to disappoint you. If you read the books, there's a moment in a later volume when you find out that all that food is prepared in the kitchens which are exactly bellow the Great Hall and placed on four identical tables arranged exactly as you see them, so Dumbledore really just summons it by magic. Actually this sort of magic is almost like a parallel Physics: it has strict rules regarding what can and what cannot be done by magic. One of these rules is (one of the five exceptions from Gamp's law of elemental transfiguration actually) that you cannot make food out of nothing. You can summon it if you know where it is, you can multiply it, but that's it. Somewhere in an interview Rowling said that she spent a lot of time figuring out the rules of her magic, because if anything is possible, you can't make a meaningful story.
You should definitely watch all HP movies, cause they're not just 8 different movies about the same people, but one whole story from "Sorcerer's/Philosopher's stone" to "Deathly hallow's Pt. II".
Although the movies leave out many things from the books, that would explain certain aspects, I like them, and from the "entertainment standpoint" they work well. The first two are (more or less) nice children movies, but then they will go on pretty dark.
A little advise: Please also take notice from details, cause they might become relevant in the further movies.
I have to agree, this one felt more like a family-friendly / kids movie than a dark story. That's why I'm looking forward to the following ones. Also, If you enjoy the video, it would mean a lot to me if you shared it around and subscribe. It signals the algorithm to recommend the video to more people like you! Thanks!
the french title is Harry Potter a l'ecole des sorciers, witch mean Harry Potter at the sorcerer school.
That's pretty accurate :) PS. if you enjoy the video, it would mean a lot to me if you shared it around and subscribe. It signals the algorithm to recommend the video to more people like you! Thanks!
It's always fun to see someone experience HP for the first time. You are in for a great series!
I trust your taste in music and in movies as well :)

@@CinemaWithH Now you have a new sub !!! Don't worry about that. I'm going to share your video with my friends. They like HP too hehe
The only reason that they named it Sorcerer was on Request by the American's to make it easier for their reader's & viewer's to understand that it has with Magic & wizards/witches to do as subject so they don't get confused by what Philosopher means otherwise it's same thing
Odličan reaction video! Keep it up! Pozdrav od velikog HP fana iz BiH!
Oo, fino vidjet i domace ljude :) Veliki pozdrav, bit ce toga jos ;)
Hermione only fixed Harry's glasses not his eyesight.
Oh, my bad. Still a nice spell :) PS. if you enjoy the video, it would mean a lot to me if you shared it around and subscribe. It signals the algorithm to recommend the video to more people like you! Thanks!

Yeah she performed magic deliberately outside of school even though she was underage.
@@denizkenger52 It's ok on the train it seems from reading the books. Just not in everyday life...except in certain circumstances.
@@toodlescae but she doesn’t repair his glasses in the books.
The correct title it’s ‘’The Philosopher’s Stone’’
The original book written by J.K.Rowling had this title.
When the book was published in the US, the publishers convinced Rowling to change the title into ‘’The Sorcerer’s Stone’’ because the American public wouldn’t be able to understand it…
The films were filmed in America so that’s why they have the wrong title (Sorcerer’s Stone).
What’s the problem?
The term Philosopher’s Stone is a historical term. In ancient eras, alchemists were trying, and they were sure that they have succeeded to create a substance that it could turn any metal into pure gold!
That was named Philosopher’s Stone because back then philosophers were also mathematicians, alchemists… etc
The term Sorcerer’s stone is 1000% wrong and non accurate because people weren’t believed in magic. They thought that they would be able to create that stone by mathematics and chemistry not by magic formulas!
Sorcerer’s stone means that there is a wizard and has a stone with magical properties.
When, Philosopher’s stone is a substance created by scientists/alchemists/philosophers of those days!
Americans always change words and terms from the UK!
But the term Philosopher’s Stone isn’t from the UK, it’s a global term ad written down to History. Practically it’s a Hellenic term🇬🇷 translated to English.
So, the correct term is Philosopher’s Stone but Americans will always be Americans…
Not quite accurate, the whole series was filmed at various locations throughout the UK not the USA.
Please tell me where you found this version. Because there is one scene, that I remember seeing the first few times I saw the movie years and years ago but the last 3 years I cannot find anywhere. It is the scene where the Hogwarts letter pops out of the egg.
This is the extended version of the movie, it has about 9 min more than the regular version I believe :)
you should really watch the behind the scenes for this movie but maybe wait until you watch all of the hp movies
Subscribed for the rest of the saga🙏❤️
Thanks! Hope you enjoy the ride!
Honestly I don't believe you've never seen this before
Well I can't help you believe. I did see some small parts on tv but never watch the full movie
I know it's a totally different way of a movie, but could you do schindler's list?
I plan to, never watched it before and it's one of those must see movies
Generally I think you’ll find it easier to just call the first one Harry Potter and the Smart Man’s Rock
Hahah, I just might start doing that! PS, if you enjoy the video, it would mean a lot to me if you shared it around and subscribe. It signals the algorithm to recommend the video to more people like you! Thanks!
Ha ha, I love those Harry Potter parody videos! Hazza P, I mean.
Great reaction video, btw ☺️
i was wondering since everyone likes hermiones know it all personality is there any person here that likes anyone but Hermione not only like her because of her just because her name and etc is around and pretty or cute or whatever the case just anyone but her for once?
