- Minecraft is a happy game. BUT! There are plenty of frustrating Minecraft things, and in today's video we are going to do a list of the 50 most frustrating things for Mumbo in Minecraft. Hitting your head on the top of stairs, getting bad enchantments and running out of rockets to name a few. These things are enough to make you minecraft rage quit!

u don’t understand how annoying that is i have a house in a mesa biome and whenever i try to sleep there’s some cave near me and i hear monster sounds and of course it says “you may not rest,there are monsters nearby”
I think crafting buttons is way more expensive, you use a whole massive block and it converts to a singular tiny button
But I mean, at least with buttons you’re trading one block for one block, in the sense of a peaceable object being a block. With stairs you lose quite a few blocks with the current crafting recipe. Totally get what you mean though.

@@gimmealldafoodz2625 it’s true. I definitely like more bang for my buck but whenever you just need a single door or a single button you have to deal with the leftovers taking up space. Really annoying in the early game when you have limited storage. Kinda wish there were two different crafting recipes for them or something.

I was playing in a hardcore world once. I survived some of the most intense combat ever. I had plenty of materials to travel through the nether, and then I decided to upgrade my house, and died to fall damage while building it.
If you didn't have feather falling and/or elytra at that point then you deserved it.

7:07 This was probably one of my worst minecraft experiences, I didn't know there was a hard limit and when I saw "too expensive", I obviously started building an Enderman farm and farming XP.
After I reached Level 111, it still didn't work so I farmed up to about Level 250, then I made my farm way bigger and faster and finally around level 380 a friend told me, I will never have enough XP because it's a hard limit.

Yeah Minecraft is programmed so that if the experience costs more than 30 it's "too expensive" no matter how high your experience level is experience cost 31 and you have 150 levels it's still too expensive and it's super frustrating am I right?

when exploring abandoned mine shafts, I always put torches on the right. if I hit a dead end, I "block" off that route with gravel or something else that doesn't just spawn in the way and I got enough of
putting some amethyst next to interesting routes (like to a spawner) once I got some of that
I'm with you on the accidentally stripping logs when opening a chest while holding an axe, especially because my current mouse needs to be replaced.
I like to build docks by my bases. What are docks made from most the time? Wood, simple wood. It just looks nice. Of course, I store my boats on the docks in a little chest. Makes sense. What do you need to get your boat out of the water? An axe, so it's not uncommon to be holding an axe when opening the chest on the dock. Then, accidental right click, and, boom, stripped log.
It's also frustratingly easy to do when opening doors and your door frame is nicely made from logs.
I've done it with village houses I had every intention of leaving alone for other players on the server to enjoy. Then I have to go retrieve some logs or cut down a tree just to make the house look nice again.
I stole every natural chest in town, but I can't just leave that weird looking log alone and walk away, lol.
Build it out of stripped logs to begin with? Lol
My main base has a lot of raw cherry wood. Nice and dark.
But I am always accidentally stripping the door frames.

They mess up your flat land, destroy your house, and sneak up on to you while you're mining.
I use auto jump too. Tried it the other way and decided there were better ways to spend my time than constantly clicking a button to jump. The only downside is that when auto jump is on you become a floatation device and cannot stay underwater.
Traveling to specific coordinates is a pain, but I just pick either the X or Z coordinate and go to that one first. Then I navigate to the other coordinate. Takes longer but is less aggravating.

Autojumper here, I don't understand people that have to spam jump when climbing hills or any vaguely non-flat terrain. You don't want to jump? There's this thing called precision, as well as this meta called crouching. People are weird.

Quick tip for exploring mineshafts:- Block of paths that are completely explored or lead to dead ends with dirt. At any intersection place torches the direction you came from. That way you can avoid going in circles and always get back. This also works in fortresses and strongholds
Even today I'm still surprised you didn't add one for "when you want to craft a button and accidentally craft a whole stack of them losing all your wood planks"

Another really painful moment is when you accidently pour water on the top of your staricase and have to watch all the torches/carpet break one by one as the water reaches the ground.

This is why I'm not playing Pocket Edition atm.
I use auto-jump for 3 reasons. Going up inclines backwards while battling, going up stairs at 95% light speed, and messing with people.😊
I get the general theme around the technical designs in the game is to make things convoluted, awkward, but possible
It encourages a lot of creativity and actually playing the game instead of relying on machines to play it for you.
That said I do get very annoyed that there are items that know what page a lecturn is opened on, but not that the sword should go in the chest for swords.
(The annoyance usually comes from farming for sorting systems, realising these 10 iron ingots are just so my spruce fence gates can have a proper home)

Yes, the Wandering Trader is the most frustrating.
He spawns inside your base and follows you around with his stoopid llamas, and his trades aren't even very good.
When you are underground, killing spiders peacefully while they are not aggressive(day), and then suddenly, they become aggressive. ugh
when you're standing right by the bed but it still says "Bed is to far away."

When you are so close to finishing a raid and you can find the last mob because it's in a cave somewhere
My first raid took 1 hour and a half-ish because at the end of each round there was 1 single mob left that I could not find

Interesting how a few of these have been patched all these years later. Sprinting against walls, auto jump being default off, boat issues, etc. Heck now with crafters even making dispensers in bulk isn't too bad.
One frustrating thing not mentioned here: when you bucket out an underground lake of lava and you run out of inventory space so you accidently sacrifice one bucket (or more if you are slow) to the lava.
Maybe one thing on the next, if you want to revisit this topic (I mean it's been 3 years now and Minecraft added some things that also could make the list and some things are still not fixed)

1: When you join a casual SMP world a few months after it started and all the resources you're looking for have all been claimed.
2: On that note, having any world's border be less then 100k blocks out.

when you happen to get exactly 4 spruce or dark oak saplings, and you get the tree at your base, then you chop it down and only get 3 saplings back, and now you'll never have that wood type again unless you make the venture to find that biome a second time.

I do wish they'd improve the tree generation.. they already have the mechanic in place for Dark Oak and Redwoods. if they would set it so 4 oak saplings together, would make one of the really big oak trees with broad branches and the leaves are at minimum, start at 3 blocks or higher above the ground. (the kind that would be PERFECT for a tree house) 4 Accacia saplings could grow into a tall Banyan tree. 4 birch saplings would make a really tall birch tree with a broad canopy very high up. 4 Mangrove together could make a Ficus, a broad trunked version with a single trunk and roots more low to the ground instead of sprawling spiderlike...
the new cherry trees could be similar.. a single sapling makes a modest treet, but 4 together, you get a REALLY big one with broad limbs

I use the auto-jump feature. It was automatically turned on when I first got the game, and now I'm just more comfortable with it being on at all times
When you just died respawnded and a creeper explode next to your base (i think they should add a no mob rule for the first 30 seconds after respawn)

i use autojump, it allows me to focus more on the task at hand then constantly having to press space, also you can farm shulker boxes

I once had a merchant move into my base with both of his llamas, it wasn't that big of a base, and he insisted on camping right in front of the door. He had an accident.
I did the math and cutting all the blocks in the recipe perfectly should get you 8 stairs. Thats double what you normally get
Edit: For the fellow nerds out there, the equation was 6 divided by 3/4 (because one stair block is 3/4 of a normal block, and there are six blocks in the normal recipe, so 6 divided by 3/4 should tell you how many 3/4 blocks you get from 6 blocks)

Honestly tho. If stairs were crafted with 3 blocks it would be an equal exchange.
Plus, Stairs only have two steps and not 3 so it honestly would make so much sense for the recipe to be different.

If you have a silk touch tool and a torch, place the torch on the dirt, and the grass on the torch. It will spread much faster this way. You can also move the seeding grass blocks around for faster spread.

One of the worst things I find as a builder… is when you use barrels a lot in your base like me, and your next to a village… and then you wake up the next morning, and you find about 50 fishermen in your house. THE. PAIN. 😩
This happened to me recently and I can't believe it happened but here we go. When a baby zombie spawns right outside your house and you run inside but fail to close the door in time so it follows you inside and kills you at your bed so when you respawn, it's still there and kills you again and again and all you can do is keep punching it until it finally dies.

When your building a hose and you’ve built your custom terrain around with flowers and grass and you use a water bucket to finish the roof off and the water destroys ALL YOUR FLOWERS!!!! It’s so infuriating 😡
