I wonder if neel/editor realized that his first 10 seconds of the video is from potentially an already edited episode 18. Because that intro never happened this episode. Usually the intro sneak peek is from the same video.
I could be mosunderstanding, but it felt like you thought that the additional time with Gagamaru and Raichi was happening at the time time as the current 3v3.
Gagmaru and Raichi did clear it slower that Isagi, but not by a ridiculous amount like days. Every team up should have happened on the same day, just some players cleared the 1st stage later

This episode is one of my favorites of the whole season. Himsagi & Nagi together are one fucking insane duo. And Isagi just keeps evolving again and again. What an incredible main character to watch.

Well, the thing with Haikyu vs Blue Lock is that volleyball vs soccer has two different dynamics. In soccer, you may not even score, so each goal is a steep objective to work for; meanwhile in volleyball, the exchanges are much quicker and even the biggest toughest team out there will concede a few points. As such, the subtleties and strategies in both games are a bit different. There are still decoys and offense vs defense in volleyball, but since the sport is a bit stricter when it comes to your positions and flow of actions, you don't have these cracked plays we see in Blue Lock.
And from a narrative perspective, Haikyu is a more standard team sport story and the thrills comes from not knowing who might win because the games are still quite realistic and there's no villains vs heroes; meanwhile Blue Lock is more of a Death Note-styled thriller, in the sense that each match presents a puzzle for Isagi to overcome.

@@debdootghosh2386 I have caught up with manga bruh and it's my one of the fav mangas to read currently but believe its not a football anime it's a fantasy anime which has a little to do with football (like a team of strikers can beat u-20 official team with great defenders with prodigy itoshi sae and shidou) isagi tuned into s tier defender when it's convenient to plot against manshine city match I mean they never showed any defenders in basterd munchen team doing anything if you follow football you know the game is not played like in bluelock and also strategic wise it's nothing compare to haikyuu what's its strategy always one character pops off and dribble through all defenders and the others teams one character pops off and dribble through other teams and again and again this is the strategy of most game if you want to watch genuine football anime watch (ao atoshi) it will show u how strategic football works. On the other hand haikyuu is very real based anime and utilize strategies which works in real life too
