This episode is one of my favorites of the whole season. Himsagi & Nagi together are one fucking insane duo. And Isagi just keeps evolving again and again. What an incredible main character to watch.

Actually, ALIENS means outsiders aka people not from Japan and they need to go through "border patrols" before entering, which this ship refuses to do. So they tried to stop it before it landed, but found out that everyone on board escaped through an "escape hatch" and the next scene you see is those outsiders coming up through a well in an "yet unknown" location... Well, the thing with Haikyu vs Blue Lock is that volleyball vs soccer has two different dynamics. In soccer, you may not even score, so each goal is a steep objective to work for; meanwhile in volleyball, the exchanges are much quicker and even the biggest toughest team out there will concede a few points. As such, the subtleties and strategies in both games are a bit different. There are still decoys and offense vs defense in volleyball, but since the sport is a bit stricter when it comes to your positions and flow of actions, you don't have these cracked plays we see in Blue Lock. And from a narrative perspective, Haikyu is a more standard team sport story and the thrills comes from not knowing who might win because the games are still quite realistic and there's no villains vs heroes; meanwhile Blue Lock is more of a Death Note-styled thriller, in the sense that each match presents a puzzle for Isagi to overcome.
